Thanks... I got bored one day when my family and I were on a roadtrip from Michigan (From State Choral Festival) to Kentucky (To A Soccer Tournament) to South Carolina (To see my brother @ AmeriCorps) and back to Michigan, and thought that this would be a fun way to pass the time. Can also be played by simply looking at the roadkill on the side of the road and tallying the point values for the animals up. The person who spots the most roadkill wins! Oh, and with the driving version, it's optional, but you can also add the insurance deductible/repair costs to the value of that particular hit.

Actually on small trips i find the simple old Pedestrian game to be fun, especially in my suburbs which is full of rich, plump, 50 point grannies with walking frames.
I also enjoy playing the pedestrian game as a pedestrian and being the only one that survive, a sickening sense of accomplishment.

Dear folks,
After the day I had I needed a good laugh. I just got one. Whatever this post started out as, I love this post. Loved the scoring system. Would post that at work, but then my boss would make 'roadkill' out of me.

Yeah.... "what the shit," eh?
I think, though, that a moose should be worth more than 50 points. They're less common than deer, and their legs are so long that they go right through the windshield instead of just being knocked over.
I also think that skunks should be worth a fair amount because they're stinky.
