I can actually see a grain of truth in that. I don't like being depressed, but it's familiar and somewhat comfortable. I like being happy, but it makes me nervous and I don't trust it.

Yep, that's basically it. When I'm in good circumstances and everything's going well, I can't fully enjoy it because some part of me is always waiting for the bottom to fall out.

Well... you said -like- some "bad" things about teenagers... I think that you were one too... I know that the whining its horrible to you, but that means that you are acting like one also, you are whining about us!
We are young and we have as many problems as you do. The diference is that we say the things out- loud and the "mature" people just keep things just for them selves. This age "teenager" is not easy, we like to be us (stupid some times)...
- The fact that some one is asking how to be a goth... girl on that one I agree!
