It should come from him.

I didn't think of this before, but it is possible that it could backlash on you. If you/your girlfriend did tell his wife, he would probably deny it (he sounds like a sleeze), and then accuse you of trying to ruin his marriage. People always have to find a scape-goat.

It's hard situation, sweetie. Someone your age definately shouldn't have such a weight on her shoulders. Like I said, if I were married, I'd want to know if my husband did something like that, but it's not YOUR responsibility...He's the one that messed up.

The fact that he thinks its okay to cheat with you means he thinks it's okay to cheat PERIOD. So if he can't get his action on the side with you, he'll probably keep looking. I'm thinking it's not really "sex" he's after as much as the excitement. Thrill of the chase, and all that jazz. So who's to say he might not go looking for it with a person he doesn't know? Bringing all kinds of lovely diseases home to his wife. If I were the wife, I'd wanna know.

This is what I'm thinking, too.

I guess what I was driving at is this. We're talking about a person of low character. Not to say that he couldn't better himself, but at the moment he has a screwed up way about him. A person who is prepared to cheat on his wife with the intention of hiding the fact indefinitely is, in my estimation, very, very unlikely to make anything like a good father.

Given what I've heard, the best bet in my mind is to put the woman in full posession of the relevant facts and let her decide what is best for her and the child both. If you are truly confident that you're not letting your own convenience slip into the picture, though, your intuitions are probably better than mine. You're a lot closer to the actual facts.

Anyway, it's ultimately not your problem. You are blameless whichever way you cut it. That's worth keeping in mind.
