I almost always wear Paris by YSL. Occasionally Poison by Dior. On others, it just depends, some scents smell great on some people while others can't wear them. I love Tea Rose (smells JUST like roses) on one of my friends but I can't wear it myself, it just doesn't smell the same on me.

Isn't it though? I fell in love with the scent as soon as I smelled it.

My all time favorite is Angel by Thierry Mugler. I can never change it and note to everyone who thinks of using it; spritz in very small quatities.

Me though, I wear Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's "Zombi". It's made to smell like roses and moss and upturned earth. I love the scent of upturned earth. It's the best smelling thing ever.

That sounds like the best thing ever, and now I want to find it, just to see if it really smells as you say. I love roses, and used to wear tea-rose perfume. I then met a man who hates roses, so now I wear Curve by Liz Claborne.

Like someone else said, The Goth Rosary (www.gothrosary.com). The scents are completely fucking intoxicating, AntiSally is a perfuming genius, the customer service is exceptional and the fragrance products are vegan/earth friendly. Aside from the wonderful fragrances, AntiSally sells shampoos, conditioners, lotions and the such which are all FANTASTIC and don't contain any of that awful crap that they put in commercial stuff. My favorite scents are "Gothic Rose", "Vanilla Hell", and "Funeral Flowers".
p.s. I may sound like a fucking commercial but nobody paid me to say any of the above.

Lancôme's Hypnôse is my all-time favourite. Other good scents are Laura Biagiotti's DUE Donna and Givenchy's Ange au Demon (if it's spelled that way). Mostly I'm a fan of floral and fruity scents, but there are some exceptions that have stolen my heart.

yum, my favourite scents are demon in the dark soap, ( lush ) oo la la(lush soap) , elicit musk, ( evoke body spray ) lavender, sage, patchuli, vanilla, cloves and spices. I loved I should coco in lush soap too, but apparently it was discontinued ages ago.. though it still is for sale on the website. strange. the black pearl bath bombs and you crack the whip scrub are both really yummy too. I used to wear cK be many years ago, but never bought a new one when it ran out.
not sure if it is of interest, but just be careful if you are buying 'musk' perfumes, if you have interests in animal welfare. True musk is actually made from the gland of an animal.. and such is a pretty awful idea to me. There are plenty of synthetic alternatives though.

When it comes to perfumes, I may not want to admit this but my ultimate favorite scent is Curious (the light blue one) by Britney Spears.
As for incense, I typically go for Egyptian Musk, Frankincense, and Love Drops. They're all very airy and enjoyable. :]

I usually smell like roses. That's about it. No fancy name for it. No dark aesthetic attached to it. Just roses.
I do like Bath And Body Works Moonlit Path or whatever it's called. It's my preferred scent I use. The more rosey, the better.

This may be a bit slow on my part, but the idea of mixing upturned earth and roses as a smell just sounds awesome. Hmmm... Is that what Zombi smells like in general?
*edit* Whoops, turns out Zombi is just that. Except with the smell of moss as well. Hmmm....

Hope nobody minds that I'm bringing up this old thread....
I was wondering though, has anyone tried the new "Twilight Woods" fragrance from Bath and Body Works?
I got the mini sized products as part of an exchange the other day and I like the scent.
Hoping that the wannabe vampire Edward + Bella loving teenyboppers don't wreck it's appeal though.

Ew, perfume. It should be banned, I wanna gag everytime I get a whiff of someone's perfume.
For when I want to smell nice I just put a bit of vanilla on my wrists instead.

I've tried that, using the straight vanilla on me. Doesn't seem to work.

The ones I wear mot at the moment are Darling, Kylie Minogue's perfume and some Lavender perfume my mum got for me from God knows where.
I never actually thought I'd like something by Kylie Minogue but her perfume is really fruity and sweet smelling so it's not uber heavy, so it's good for every day wear. I'd love to find a perfume that smells like Sandalwood, if any one has any ideas, let me know!

Perhaps it would smell like burnt offerings.
My favourite perfumes are Opium by Yves Saint Laurent, Poison by Christian Dior and Secret Obsession by Calvin Klein. I also enjoy aromas such as patchouli, white musk, frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood, lavender and rose.
