It's contemporary art. Generally, the goal of contemporary is to make some comment on society and cause discussion over its meaning (neither of which, in relation to the vagina couch, I have a clear idea of, though). Doubtless it has something to do with a pun on the expression "to be inside her", or be inside a vagina that doesn't get any pleasure.

And anyway, why not make it? It makes people laugh.
