Moody, disturbing, intelligent electronic music. This track's very dark, very heavy -- perfect for listening to in a bad mood.

I love when they play this song at The Castle!

Song: To Cure a Weakling Child (Contour Regard)
Artist: Aphex Twin (again)
Album: Come to Daddy (again)
Still on this album and I love it. This track's very complex. There're things happening on every channel, noises coming in from every direction. It's listenable, it's elevating. The way Richard James assembles these pieces and then arranges them to invoke one different mood after another... if you don't have a copy of this album, damn well go out and get it now and raise the average IQ of your CD collection by a few points. Sonic therapy.

Telstar. Written by Joe Meek; performed by The Tornadoes.
A wonderful instrumental with one of the best melodies in the history of popular music. An absolute joy to listen to.

Envy - Unrepairable Gentleness
Amazing, essential Japanese hardcore band.
(psst... cannibalnuns - it's Mother North. Although "nord" is the Norwegian word, yes. Classic song.)

Great song. I am a huge fan of the "Misfits", so naturally I have to give some lurve to Danzig. My favourite song however would have to be either "Going down to die" or "Devils plaything."
