Serves the moron right for trying to down a B52 without using a straw. That's what happens when you try and pretend to be macho.

Originally, macho stood for straight virile men, now it stands for morons like these.

I hate life, I fucking hate it. Just when things seem to finally be going great I find out that there’s something like a 99% chance that my dad has lung cancer. I have no clue what to do, he is the strongest person that I know and he’s now just acting as if everything will simply be fine and that he just has to go to the hospital for a few days. How the hell am I supposed to deal with this if he can’t? I just want to curl up in a little ball and cry but I know he doesn’t want us to feel sorry for him and I don’t want my friends to feel sorry for me and start acing weird around me. I'm just starting to get numb to everything but I don't want to be numb, it's better to feel pain than nothing but if I don't express my feelings then they just kind of go away. Oh well fuck it, I may not be around much for a while

Express your pain. Go off somewhere if it needs to be private, or talk to a freind. Don't hold it in. That's trouble.

You come when you can. <hug>

And, definately talk to your counselor or doctor. This may cause an additional imbalance in your medical condition. Stress like this sometimes exacerbates an ongoing condition.

Make an appointment as soon as possible!!!

The best, the most loving thing you can do for your father right now is to take care of your health!!!

He needs that.

Poor thing. There's nothing worse inth e world than growing numb. Even pain is a way to show that you're sitll alive inside. The fact that you hurt because your father's sick shows hom much you love him. It's a good thing to feel (well, from a natural/unnatural scale). And your friends will help you a lot, if you tell them. I know if I hear things like this about my friends, I try my hardest to treat them the same, except when they need something else.

You hsould defintly not stop talking about it. Tell everyone you need to. Silence makes things fester.

Thanks guys, it really means a lot. I know I should talk to my friends but I don’t really know how. I’m kind of the emotional support for most of my friends and I kind of feel like I need to be there for them and I don’t want to worry them with my problems

Solly, I hate to be so late posting, and there's no more advice that I can give you that hasn't already been given. I can only tell give my condoleces. Be well... and whatever you do, listen to the others, don't grow numb. Find a way to express your pain.

I'm sorry Solly,I really am. This sort of thing is very tough to deal with and I would just like to offer my condolences.

What ver you do don't hold your tears in. Let them all out as much as possible. I know everyone has already said it. But at a time like this you need to hear it more than a couple of times.

Solumina, all is not lost. Get him to relly believe in himself for himself and not just to keep a front for you. And it will happen when you start believing in miracles yourself. Miracles like these take a shitload of long walks, fruit juices and lots of veggies.

Not saying it's no sweat, it's a lot of ~sweat and faith, but it can happen.

A man in his 40's can beat full-blown AIDS, another can beat cancer for sure (many do).

I don't mean to get your hopes up, but painfully reminding you to keep hoping.

While there's life, there's hope, they say. And even afterlife... - Says I.

Keep your chin up, and when you have to break down and fall apart, do it here, so we can share the pain and help you pick up the pieces, so you'll get back faster to the reality you have to try and make happen.

We're here for you.

We're always here.

That's what we're here for. As Mael has so pointedly reminded me ( ) in another thread. Find an outlet, take a walk, do some yoga(it's relaxing). And be there for your father, enjoy the time you have with him, whether it's 2 mos or 20 years.

I wish all the best for your family, luv.

*hugs*

Oh Solumina, I am so sorry!

I know what it feels like, when I was 17 my mother was diagnosed with throat cancer... but she had an operation and she beat the shit out of it. 14 years have passed and she is fine (albight the laryngectomy).

Be strong, don't show your feelings to your father. But talk to your friends, express your feelings.

We are here for you

FUCK_FUGKITY_FUCK_FUCK_FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

STUPIDGODDAMNEDMOTHERFUCKINGSHIT!!!!!!

FUCK IT!!!

*Just breathe, the vicodin'll kick in soon*

Today I almost missed work because of my piece of shit car! Thankfully, one of my co-workers offered to give me a ride, bless 'er. I really, really need to get the clutch replaced in my car. But I can't afford to. See, I need to work to make enough money to get it fixed, but the more the car is driven, the worse the clutch gets. I need to get it worked on, I'll probably end up taking a cab to work tomorrow. That's going to get expensive. I fucking hate my goddamned car!!!

My husband's license has been revoked. Why, you ask? Because our son was born anmd we missed a payment on a ticket. WHEEEEEEE!!!!!! So now we have to pay over $200, and go through all the SR-22 bullshit to get his license re-instated.

I might not be able to cover rent this month. I wasn't allowed to go back to work til the 14th, despite explaining to my doctor that I had to go back to work before then to make sure rent was covered. Now we're going to be late on the rent, and those late fees really add to the possiblity of it being paid off sooner(fuckers).

And today my husband called me at work to tell me that our daughter had a fever of 102F. Poor thing, she really doesn't feel good. But her fever's not that high right now.

There's way too much going on in my life right now. I feel like I'm this close >< to having a nervous breakdown.

And she'll have fun, fun, fun 'til the Desert Eagle blows her away......

First off Holy Shit Wolf Moon! I am sorry about that! I know how that is really I do.

And I as well am also angry.... I am STILL sicker than a dog. I am coughing and sneezing out green shit, I am dizzy, and Even Better I am going to lose my job! you are only allowed 9 sick days and I have had 8 this month alone! So here is some good news. Mike (My husband) and I are going to move to Vancouver Washington..... yay for that But here is where the shit is going to far... it is going to cost me almost $1000.00 just to move! and because of my husband and I being sick we are not going to have a very good paycheck to pay rent. and even worse, the electricity is going to get shut off, along with the internet, and everything else. damn it I am so damned screwed. Here is something that is worse..... in Vancouver Washington is my Husbands mother..... you want to talk about a judgemental family? I swear this family is so snobby you couldnt get them to look any more down at you if you strung their nose with a fishing hook and line and strung that though the celing.....

I have done the research and the closest club is in Portland.... The rent is cheap and jobs are plentiful but is it really worth it? Yes and no...... Yes, I will be with my son, away from the Mormons (Fucking Cult), and I will be able to smoke and dress how ever I want without haveing to worry about reciving a ticket for breaking the law or some shit.
and No.... the move is going to be a serious bitch.... there will also be no buffer zone from my Monster in Law, and dont even ask me about my Father in law..... that guy scares me the most, he doesnt speak more than 3 words at ya.... and he stares at you gives me the hebejebies.........

Bleh..... time for me to get back to being sick on the couch sneezing coughing and watching Richard Pryor..... now he is a funny fuck!

Take care all

Life is killing me ;P

Thanks Raven & Ghosty, I need all the support I can get right now.

It sounds like it's gonna be a fun little while for you, Raven. I love my MIL dearly, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to live with her. She offered to pay for private school for my daughter, as long as it's christian-based. I told her no thanks. She seems to think that if my children are around religious people that they'll be safe from predators and the like.

I certainly sympathize with your situation, though. It's tough to be around people who are seriously intolerant of the lifestyles of others. I hope you don't have to be around those people long, luv. And I think Seattle is a veritable haven for goths? Loy, I'm questioning in your direction.........

I hate moving. All that packing and unpacking, it seems like it takes an eternity! Then you get to decide what goes where in the new place, what joy. :x And I can't believe that someone could get fired for being sick! How fucking lame! So we you to now be impervious to any sickness passed around at the office or you're out on your ass? Maybe you can give them a doctor's note so they won't fire you? If you can afford to go to the doctor.

It still amazes me that they make it affordable for damned near anyone to be on the 'net nowadays, but it's so expensive to see a doctor that most people have to be at death's-fucking-door to actually go! This country's priorities are seriously fucked up!

I'm soryr things are so bad for now. They'll get better, though.

Then go back to sucking, and. . .you understand hte pattern. But things usually turn out right in the end.

As for ym contribution to the group rant. . .

I should not be allowed ot socialize without supervision.

I am socially retarded. Some part of my brain doesn't uncitn properly, so I do the stupidest things annd don't realize it until I've run someone off.

I need an editor for life, or something. I suck greatly. No wonder my entire romantic prospects consist of people who are twice my age. I have the social skills of a large irritable dog. I run up to you and wag my tail inthe begining, and if I don't get upset at you and bark my head off, I'm liable to knock you over and slobber all over you.

Yeah, guess I kinda know how Pedah felt when he thought up that title now. Anyway, that's how I currently feel. It's only a bonus that it coincides with TON's album.

Thank you, Mark, Panther, Jane & Morbi.

And if you haven't been thanked for your support, please say so.
