Being a bleeding heart can suck, but remember that while you can feel someone else's pain, you can also truly share their joy.

Gah I am really getting sick of this whole apartment thing. We just found out today that we are apparently required to have renters insurance, well we don't and we move in on Monday, a national holiday, the insurance companies don't really like to work on holidays and the business day for today is over. I guess I will talk to the people at the apartment complex to see if we can move in with the agreement that we will have it by the end of the week or something like that. Honestly all together we have maybe $4,000 worth of stuff ($2,000 of which is laptops that get taken everywhere with us), we really don't need renters insurance, but this place requires it (I think it may have something to do with the number of tornadoes coming through and people saying that there stuff has been damaged because of places not being built well enough, so they try and sue the management companies or some shit like that)

Yay my mind started working again and I remembered that many major insurance companies allow you to purchase policies online 24/7 so I now have a policy set up through GEICO (underwritten by Travelers) that will start on Monday so that is all taken care of ^.^

So, listen to this:
Finally! A pretty, intelligent girl with similar tastes to mine, and a (girl) friend of mine and her are trying to have a relationship.

Fuck my karma!

just wait it out dude. who knows what could happen with a situation like that. If she is as intelligent as you say she is, it shouldn't take her long to see what is right in front of her.

My sister is sitting here asking me annoying questions about bands I don't like, because she thinks that they're goth, and no matter what I tell her she just comes back and asks more questions about the same band, that I do not even like, so I wouldn't know much about.
"What are the names of the band members in My Chemical Romance," or "Who sings that one song...?"

Grrrrr.... Partez, vous vache stupide!!!!!!

Maybe I'm just being moody...
Meh....

And I strike out again! Apparently, I shouldn't be aboveground during any period of time, that's what was said to me. Great. Maybe I'll go back to my cave, because that's where I belong apparently!!!

My boyfriend's grandmother (and legal guardian) is threatening to take me to court over the custody of my unborn child just because I want to give it to a nice gay couple! And now I'm not even sure i want to give it up! But my parent's threatened to kick me out if I didn't give it up, so I have no idea what to do anymore!

Pah! Who would want a cupboard when a closet has SO much more potential for living space. I once fit a big overstuffed lazy-boy chair in a hall closet and won a game of hide and go seek!

Okay so...yeah I was supposed to move into my new apartment on Monday, that didn't happen. There was a list of things that were supposedly being fixed in the apartment before we moved in and none of it was done so we are in the process of applying at another complex (and the manager there kicks ass and have been nice enough to put a hold on the place until our applications have been processed). This is a much nicer complex and I am very happy that we will, hopefully, be living there, it does cost more than the other place (but now at least the other girls have accepted that fact that the super cheap places are cheap for a reason) and it will not be available until the 6th (so I will be out of an apartment for a week but I think I have found a temporary home for all of my stuff) but I am still very happy that we seem to have this settled once and for all (and I will still be paying about $100 less than I am now). The people at Virginia Power were cool and didn't make us pay any fees (to start or terminate service) even though we called to cancel the service on the morning that it was scheduled to start and we had already technically started an account and it looks like there shouldn't be any problem with transferring my renters insurance policy to the new place. I may or may not be spending much time on here over the next week or so since I have get my apartment ready before I move out and then move my shit to my friends' places and then move my stuff to the new place.

As much as I am frustrated right now I really am super excited about the new place, they are less than ten years old, two bed, two bath luxury apartments with energy star appliances, washer+dryer in unit and they have a nice little balcony, they are also in a cool, kind of artsy part of town and the apartment complex is set up so that the top three floors are apartments and the first floor has shops/restaurants. Fingers crossed that everything works out

Every remotely attractive woman is acquainted with at least one sexually frustrated loser who makes her the object of a desperate, agonizing desire in the throes of which he spends his every waking moment, consumed by a perpetually mounting spite for whoever should have what he so desperately wants. To whatever socially capable, peerlessly intelligent, good looking guy should happen to be the paramour of a given attractive woman, these pitiable individuals are generally nothing more than a minor annoyance, their bitter jeers to the effect of "HE'S AN ASSHOLE HE'S NOT GOOD FOR YOU YOU COULD DO SO MUCH BETTER" easily dismissed and forgotten. However, when a particular attractive woman is lusted after not merely by a sexually frustrated loser, but by a sexually frustrated, thoroughly deranged psychopath, the man who should dare successfully court her may encounter undue grief.

Sounds like the psycho that I had for a friend for a while, genuinely liked the guy, but he went nuts after he stopped taking his happy meds ("I don't need meds if I have yoooouuu!") and we had to call the police on him because of homicide/suicide threats I got on my phone and email after I got serious with my current boyfriend. I hate people who are like that now, its just so stupid

Overheated? You HEAT them? In what? I never did that ever. On the advice of Mark O Shea. I always left them out ( under a mesh cover to protect from flies ) several hours before feeding to defrost naturally. I had a kingsnake once who refused point blank to eat white mice. I tried everything, putting them on a different plate, picking them up in tongs and jiggling them realistically...nothing. Stick a brown or black one in there on the usual plate and BAM ! Gobblegobbleswallow. He was a funny bugger
