So I went on this tour that takes you around town and talks about the history of crime and murder here, and it was pretty good...except now on my way to work I pass this war memorial that used to be a whipping stock, where in 1704 a 15 year old servant girl was whipped to death for not making the beds as fast as her mistress wanted her to. >.<

I've been so busy. Even when I have time for hobbies I'm often too exhausted... Doesn't mean I can't read up on the things I like though. ^_^

I've been through a lot of negativity and confusion in the past few months but I feel like I'm finally coming out of it and I know where my life is going.

Let's see.. Hmm.. .I've fossicked for gems in Emerald, and found sapphires in Ruby, was told of a beautiful love story at Paranella Park, fished with a beautiful soul, who was a total stranger: stayed at a boat ramp where two weeks earlier they caught a 4metre crocodile, learnt how to free camp, befriended a stray cat, who sat upon my lap and we watched the embers of a fire die. I've driven on a developmental road in QLD (narrow single lane road, which the roadtrains use in both directions).
Discovered I adore Tiny houses, and my dream vocation is to do with helping people, and growing my own food.
Met some truly beautiful souls and a few that I'm seriously glad I'll never have to see again.
I can truly say that there is a whole different subculture out there, of people on the road, who don't have any issues with working, but just want to be free. Whether they be downsizers or just people who choose not to upsize in the first place, the movement is growing... and I love it.
And there is something eternally liberating about not having any material desires - although it does make buying a new pair of shoes really painful.
I'm bumming internet off a friend as we couch surf, so I can't stay long - trying to be polite and all. Down in the city of churches for a week or three, waiting to get a job, so we can go west.
Also am 85% vegetarian... can't seem to give up my cheese and milk, but I'm happy with my progress, and that's all that matters.
Hope you are all well. Live long and prosper. xo

Last night there was a "goth party" down the street, which got me real fucking excited because I was pretty convinced that wasn't a thing in this town. The music was all great, and a few people seemed genuinely involved, but it ended up being more of a ~goth satire~ than anything ("omg let's go put on a lot of makeup in the bathroom and laugh at people who are actually into it lololol") so I left after 20 minutes. Looks like it's still not a thing in this town.

That's Ovo-lacto vegetarianism. Or just Lacto vegetarianism if you only consume milk/cheese (I eat eggs too in addition to milk which I only use for tea). I've been one for 7+ years, and I personally think it the most balanced in terms of choices from a dietary and ethical perspective.

Riddle me this:
If evolution managed to make a species of highly developed monkeys with the ability to build computers and manipulate the natural world around us to do pretty much anything we wish, then why did it decide to devolve our feet so we need to craft custom armor for them to be able to traverse a flat surface? <.<

The answer lies in the riddle Timeless Humans were smart enough to develop all sorts of stuff, shoes ended up being one of them. In turn, our feet became super soft and sensitive.

Walk around barefoot and that will toughen up the soles of your feet, then shoes are an option, except in cold places, then you HAVE to wear shoes.
Watch the movie Tracks - it's bloody brilliant and you get to see a ton of the Aussie outback.
Stationary in our travels at the moment, due to lack of money. however, we are in good company, surrounded by many others who are seeking work and are stationary. Guitar jamming is becoming popular.
Although, I did give $10 away to buskers. One of them thanked me and said it will help pay his electricity bill. The other wished me a good day.
If I had more money, I could help more people out. Although then you tread into the precarious world of egoic attachment to material things such as money...
warm fuzzy thoughts are with you all.

Batty I would walk around barefoot if not for social convention and all that.
And, you know, the pain and stuff.
Sounds like you live a positive life with others in mind - that is very admirable

I'm not full of myself, if that were the case, there wouldn't be any room for the energy drinks and booze.

I baked some pot brownies last night and now I'm testing their potency. I'll report back later.

Xombie, are they difficult to make?
I always wanted to try some seeing as I love eating but severely dislike coughing my lungs out - which is what happens when poor little non-smoker me tries to smoke weed of any sort.

It's not difficult. You can easily find a recipe on the internet for making canna-butter, and once you've got that you just use the butter like you normally would in whatever you are going to cook. The only thing you need to consider is the strong weedy aroma that will linger in your kitchen for a few hours while you're making the butter.

The plot of Frozen 2 has been leaked!
In Frozen 2, Elsa has finally come to terms with her ice powers as shown in the ending of Frozen.
However, a new threat encloses on the land. A sorceress is invading, and in an attempt to avoid a devestating war, a tournament is held.
In this tournament, Elsa is forced to face off against a fire-wielding ninja by the name of Hannah Hasashi - all dressed in yellow.
Hannah blames Elsa for the death of her family, and all she wants is revenge.
Meanwhile, the sorceress by the name of Shane Tsung is coming close to destroying the realm...
Who shall win the Mortal Kombat?
Oh wait, wrong movie. Sorry!

I'm probably done with it for the rest of my life which is a long story, however, I'm actually drunk right now and forcing water down, lol. But if you ever try it out, I would recommend going with something that isn't name brand or is essentially below that-- but more importantly than whether its name brand/medical or not, is that you don't smoke it through a "steamroller" or water bong, rather a small bowl/pipe or joint (blunts have a crappy cardboard taste from the tobacco leaf), steamrollers and bongs will be way too intense and probably give you a crappy experience, especially a water bong. After typing this I realize I've smoked more than what I probably ever wanted or needed to. The final thing I can say is that you, your memories, and your relationships are more important, and will always be more important than this drug.
