SHITFUCK, I don't know what to wear tomorrow. I'm going to the beach for a "photoshoot," and I was told to wear whatever it is I wear to the beach. I'm not too fond of my bathing suit, so I haven't a clueee as to what I should do.

Is anyone else sick of that god damned banner ad down the side of the page pushing The Happening? I don't know what The Happening is but I wish it would just hurry up and fucking happen so we could stop running that ad. I'm getting sick of looking at the dead guy's fish eyes every time I visit. He looks like he's being drugged and sodomized.
It doesn't scare me. It doesn't impress me. It doesn't perk my curiosity. It doesn't make me want to see the movie. In fact, it's working reverse psychology now because based on this single ad alone I already hate this fucking movie.

Yeah, that ad is getting pretty annoying. Also, the movie was supposed to be awful, constant banner ad or not.

Oh Dear God!!!
3 out of 4 couples at my school are "engaged". Some of the people I know and used to talk to all the time are "engaged". It bugs the living hell out of me!
Sorry, this was kinda late, but I had to comment.

I keep getting complaints from people in the house that the music is too loud, and I was playing an ELECTRIC guitar unplugged.
It is fucking starting to drive me insane.

I went out to The Pink Door last night. DJ Kaleidescope was spinning. Only 6 people showed up.
So, my roommate and I were having a chat with this other girl and the girl starts talking about "goth" rank.
I was rather confused because I had no idea goth had a rank. I replied, "I don't adhere to ideas of what people consider a 'rank' in the scene."
The conversation continues about stupid shit such as the girl claiming she's been goth all her life, listening to metal. -_- Whatever. Then my roommate is so bold as to claim that I'm a "poseur". And why? Because I got a deathawk and started finding DIY and oh-my-god, BACK PATCHES, to strike my fancy. Apparently, I'm supposed to be a "steampunk". What. The. Fuck? So apparently, since I wear predominantly black clothing and started modding out my wardrobe and using GOTH ROCK and DEATHROCK DIY patches to decorate, I'm a fucking punk poseur. I've had it. I've fucking had it. I know what I like, I DO WHAT I WANT. You want to call me a steampunk because I'm wearing an 80 dollar poet shirt and a frock with some goggles, go for it, you want to call me a punk, go for it, you want to call me a goth or a deathrocker, go for it. But know that you mildly insult me when you do. There are some, however that's invited to consider these points because they know better and they can call me these things.
But I've had it. My conclusion, upon being a part of the Louisville Goth scene is that it's shallow, drama queen bullshit. Fuck them. Last time I checked, the goth scene wasn't there to save my ass in Naples when a guy was trying to fucking **** and murder me. Last time I checked, the goth scene wasn't there to listen to my problems with my ex when she rend my heart into ribbons. The goth scene wasn't there to play Magic The Gathering and suffer beside me when we gave our all to earn our next belt in Martial Arts. The goth scene wasn't there to encourage me to bust my ass through a martial arts belt promotion AFTER I got my eye fucking injured and was blind. The goth scene wasn't there to climb mountains with me and hike through a god damned tornado! The goth scene wasn't there to not make my taste for goth rock an issue, but like me for who I was. Those were my friends.
I will not adhere to some uniform code. I will do what I want and if you don't like it, come take it from me. If not that course, then shut the fuck up and walk away.

No shit. I miss playing it. At least it was like riding a bike. I got to play it about a month ago. It was glorious.

Magic the Gathering is an evil, evil thing that has left about half of my friends broke due to their quest for a perfect deck...then again a lot of my friends are losers so maybe it isn't the games fault

I'm so freaking out of it! My boyfriend is out of town for what, 3 days, and I don't know where my self-esteem went out the window. I've always had a slight problem with anxiety, but now I can't think of anything but whether or not he's going to break up with me when he gets back or if he found someone back home that he's known forever and who would be so much better than me. I just can't get past this ovrwhelming fear that it'll turn out that he won't find me good enough, and I'm just freaking out a little.

I can relate to your whole rant except for this part. It's odd that none of your goth friends would do any of this. Most of the goths I know IRL are diehard romantics (or at least drama-queens) and most of them are good listeners when it comes to emotional stuff. Most of them also play Magic: The Gathering....altho a couple have become total Vampire: The Masquerade freaks...going so far as to tattoo clan symbols on their necks and having their front teeth pulled so that their canine teeth are more prominent. (These are the people we call poseurs in my social circle because they are trying to hard to be ubergoths.) Several of my goth friends are also into martial arts, as was I when I was younger.
Reading your rant, I thought it really sucked that your goth friends dropped the ball on these. If I could send you some cooler goth friends I would....but if I had my choice of who I could mail off to a distant city I'd probably pack up and ship off the guy with no teeth and the clan tattoo on his neck.

You need to be alone and find yourself or whatever. Seriously. It's not just this relationship making me say so.

Be thankful it is Magic, and that you don't have to suffer the indignity of being surrounded by diehard Pokemon fans. Twenty year old men should realize that discussing which pokemon is cuter, mew or ditto, will NOT get them a "hot blonde p.o.r.n.star" date on saturday night, no matter what type of car they have.

Sounds good. I got a new set of pastels and paper though, and I think that my drawing and sewing will help me wind down a little bit.

Fuck my school.
First I have to deal with all this alert bullshit.
Now one of my teachers won't take my assignment because even though I hand delivered it to him, he says it was "given to me two days late". No it wasn't, it was ON YOUR DESK the day it was due. So, basically 25% of my grade for the class is gone.
Another one of my classes factors attendance in to part of the grade (which I find to be complete bullshit), so I'm going to get docked a good portion of my grain for having migraines. Having a doctor's note either doesn't help, because I "needed to show up to class regardless".
Finally, my philosophy teacher won't answer his god damn email. I've been trying to talk to him since Friday, and he won't respond. If I can't get in contact with him, then a good 20% of my grade for that class will also be gone.
This means I drop from having a nice 3.5 GPA for the quarter, to a 1.92. Fuck.

Don't talk shit about Pokémon. I've played competitive Pokémon and maintain an eminently active sex life. Although, debating the extent to which any given entity is cute does seem an occupation unlikely to win one many admirers.

I have nothing against the game. But a few of my friends seem a little TOO into it.

Did I claim to know people who found every aspect of the chemistry of life simple, or did I claim to know people who find physics simple?
