Welcome!

That is a scenario I've experienced many a time but have yet to learn from it!

Now if you haven't already please go post your intro in the proper section. Have a flame proof cloak at the ready, just in case ...

That Mr Bat actually likes living with me, for the majority of the time, which is pretty good considering how much crap I give him.

I'd forgotton how much fun he can be when we get into a word fight.

I learned that one of the pencil sharpeners we sell at work is designed to sharpen only the wood off the pencil, thus making it easy to do the super-long point that one is supposed to do for traditional drawing.

I absolutely hate clothes shopping. To make it worse it is a cocktail dress for a wedding.
Fuck it!

Why can't I just wear black jeans, a tee shirt and my blundstones? (I know it's inappropriate etc)

What did I learn today?
Well, about how goods go from the factory or collector to the stores.

I learned that Pigs and Humans are the only creatures that catch skin cancer through exposure. Chickens are 'good' for Leukemia research. And that Ferrets can catch Influenza Type A which is the same strain we Humans catch.

Lab Animal Medicine class looks like it may turn out to be more interesting than I thought.

Foot binding is a horrible thing, but I have to admit that the shoes do look really cute. Not worth it, though (to severely understate the case).

I went to a wedding recently and bought my dress at a second-hand store. It was this shimmery deep ultramarine with an empire waist and a pseudo-overskirt. Itchy as hell, though. I'm glad I wore a slip. Couldn't wear anything under it on my upper self, though, since it was already too small and my shoulder was soreish the whole evening from wrenching it while trying to do the zipper up. Looked good, though.

I learned... something that I forgot.
Apparently cheerleading isn't considered a sport, despite the fact that (at least modern) cheerleading fits the definition of sport in just about every way. This means that they don't have to be as strict about safety, so you get people breaking their spines and damaging their brains and breaking limbs and stuff. (learned from episode of Penn and Teller.)

Viruses suck.

I learned that the owner of the company I work for is going senile (or rather I was nearly confirmed in my suspicions of such), but that if he actually sends us stuff if he goes to the basement and picks it out himself, which none of the shipping department seems to want to do. I don't understand anyone in that company...
