Wow Molly...just...wow. Never saw that side of you, sharing that you emotionally vulnerable, suffering. Yeah, we all suffer but you never shared it like that before that I can ever recollect. It makes you more...lovable.
I thought prednisone was a steroid to make you stronger, not hurting to breathe. At least for me it made run, not walk the dogs. My doctor ended the refills because he said I was headed for a heart attack.
Anyway, I hope you return to your strong, silly and cynical self soon.

The people I work with.
1: The gum chewing blonde bimbo with perky tits that thinks she's punk rock because she knows who Sid Vicious is. She's never heard of Glen Matlock.
2: The Nu Metal loser with a crew cut and baseball cap who wears the same hoodie every day (which reeks of pot). His worst and most creative insult is fag and he uses it every 15 seconds. Anyone who doesn't like Korn, Slipnot and Linkin Park are fags. Anyone with a pierced tongue is a fag. Any guy with painted nails is a fag. Inanimate objects are even fags. If he stubs his toe against a desk it's not his fault--the desk is just a fag.
3: The authentic punk rock girl who has slept with half the employees in her attempts to prove that she doesn't believe in emotional attachment. She did at least turn down the Nu Metal loser when he tried to get a piece. He didn't call her a fag--he just called her a bitch. (Like most metalheads he is totally oblivious to the usual antagonism between punks and metalheads and thinks that punk is just a harder, faster extension of metal. He doesn't understand why she doesn't want to come over and listen to Iron Maiden with him.)
4: The burn out prison tattooed Misfits fan. I don't know how he became burned out because this guy was never on fire to start with. I don't know how he got so many prison tattoos because he's never been to prison. I also don't trust anyone who claims to like punk rock but can only name the Misfits, Samhain and Danzig.
5: The gang-banger drug dealer. He calls me G as if it's my initial. I guess he can't read. There's no G anywhere in my name.
6: The other gang-banger drug dealer. He calls me dawg. My name isn't dawg and if it was I'd spell it correctly, D-O-G.
7: The 45 year old divorced white female who talks ghetto in her attempts to seduce either gang-banger #4 or gang-banger #5. She's from a hick town but still mangles plain and simple English into ghettospeak so that she can be attractive to gang-bangers half her age. Instead of saying, "I don't have a boyfriend" she says, "I ain't be gotten no man." She pronounces police as PO-leese and wears so much makeup that her eyes look like running sores on a corpse.
8: The big shot boss with the immigrant trophy wife. If that's his trophy wife he must have been a runner up.
9: The guy who is supposedly "good with computers". He has failed to answer every computer question I ask. So I started asking him questions when I already knew the answers just to see if he'd get it right. He failed every time. Instead of saying he's "good with computers" he should just be honest and confess he's "good at booting his computer and loading Halo 2".
These are the same people that have the audacity to think I'm strange because I choose to read books instead of talk to them on my lunch hour.

I now have to find a new place as well as a job. Because my housemate is a rude, mysogynistic, invasive and generally unpleasant individual. And he's now pressuring me to move out two months before my period on the lease is done, because he wants his friend to move in.

At man in room 5: Those people sound awful. Especially blonde-bimbo, nu-metal, divorcee, boss, and gang-bangers.
But whats wrong with Iron Maiden? They're not even nu metal......

Thanks, but I took my final this morning. It's over and done with. Now I can fully devote my evenings to Resident Evil without having the burden of lab reports...

Depends on who you are, things like biology, anatomy, etc are easy for me. Things like chemistry and physics go completely over my head. Depends on the person.
And then some people are just all around smart asses.

Bio is one of those strange things where parts of it can be super simple (I only went to bio 207 on quiz/test/exam days and got a B+) but other parts can be quite a bit more difficult (I tried to help Jake with bio 208 and I could barely keep the info straight, thankfully our friend Em is a bio major so she helped him)

I'm afraid I would kill him if that were me. Or just make his life EXTREMELY unpleasant. Get in there first as it were.

Yeah, I know--but the guy I was making fun of is into all metal really. I just called him the nu metal loser because he's always talking about these shit nu metal bands I've never heard of. The punk girl I mentioned is into political punk like Dead Kennedys, MDC and anyone screaming about politics or social issues. So, when the metalhead starts talking about metal bands she pretty much switches off. He probably considers Iron Maiden as classic metal but she probably sees them as exactly the sort of cock-rock that Jello Biafra makes fun of. It's a stereotype I know, but part of my complaint was that I work with a bunch of dumb stereotypical people to start with. Both the metalhead and the punk girl are stereotypes of their respective scenes and therein lies their communication problem.
As for myself, I listed to Iron Maiden off and on up until Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988). After that I tapered off as I moved more into punk and goth. I actually went to high school with Tim Bradstreet, who ended up doing the cover for their A Matter Of Life And Death CD. He was 2 years ahead of me so I didn't have any classes with him or talk to him much but we had common friends.

Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding. At first I thought you were looping them in with nu metal, but then, after it was too late to change my post, realized what you meant.
I listen to them every now and then when they come up on my mp3's shuffle mode, can't say I ever was a huge fan though.

Try contributing in an interesting way instead of constantly bitching, that might help.
