My lovely Toy and I went away this weeked. We visited his parents on the last day of our trip and when he was busy packing up and being all hygenic, she leaned over and asked me if we had talked about marriage.
I have to say, I wasn't really surprised she asked, just a bit not expecting it at the time.
I told her not really because, well, not really. The few few times we have talked about marriage it was him saying that he believed people should date for at least two years before getting engaged. Now, I think that's a pretty good time frame, but I think it's going to be hard as hell for me to wait that extra year.
I'm just as crazy about him now as I was the first time we met. It certainly wasn't love at first site, but it was something. I know that I want to marry him. I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with him and have little gothic-punk kids with him.
On the drive home, I told him what his mom asked and he said he figured she would ask eventually. I nervously looked at him and said "Well, what do you think? I mean, I know you have your two year waiting period, but you DO know that I'M thinking about marriage, right?" And he said yes, and that he was too. I explained to him that the only reason I really don't talk about it with him is because I don't want to freak him out or make him feel pressured. And he said there is no way in Hell I could ever pressure him into getting hitched.
The whole conversation left me feeling very hopeful and excited. I think this guy is going to marry me!! FREAKTASTIC!

I got nothing accomplished today aside from contact 5 schools on top of my original choice... Westwood College, Academy of Art San Francisco, Devry College, Anthem college, Kaplan University, and ofcourse the Art Institute. Anyone have positive experiences with any one of these colleges?? I'm having a difficult time choosing...

Snow was practically unheard of where I grew up. I think that's why I love it. 
One day I hope to see "real" snow - like piles and piles of it. The most I've ever seen was about 10" in 2004.

I love snow! It never snows where I live but I went to New Zealand to visit my Aunt when I was about 6yrs old and it snowed then. I made a mini snowman and then I took off my gloves to touch the snow and ended up with frostbite
