I wasn't complaining to him. I was complaining in the Rant thread. People come here to bitch about many things large and small, from people picking on them for the way they dress to having a loved one who is deathly ill. I don't post my own problems in Rant very often, but when I do they are real and significant for me.
I did think of all the people posting a wide variety of ills great and small here, it was surprising that he focused on me.

That really sucks... sorry to hear your sibs are being such raging arseholes about the whole thing. What kind of courses are you looking at, and what kind of hours would you need to be spending in college? Could you possibly make a little help stretch far enough to attend, if you roped in, say, neighbours, friends of your mother's, or any other family members? This would depend entirely on your mum's expected recovery period, but it might be something to think about if you could study part-time...
I really hope you're able to find some way of making it work. That's just... so wrong.

Oh my God! my old man got pissed 'cause i told him i was going to see Planet of the Apes, anyway, he slowly got pissed and we ended up in a arguement and he was goin off the deep end 'bout how he should end it all so i could go have fun. UUuuugh! Just becuase he had to go to work! he's extremely insecure also he complains about everything and has alienated his family and co-workers. Fucking pathetic dusch WINER!!!!!!!!

I'd come and help you if we lived in the same part of the world. Similar thing happened to me when my mum was sick. I had a sister who lived just around the corner from the hospital but she couldn't even be bothered to visit mum in hospital.
Fuck them.
My rant... my stupid family. Family wedding and a bunch of people going "Oh well your wedding was better than mine" and then there was the "I'm not talking to you because you are my father's sister and you'll try and do something to me to make me see my parents." When all i wanted to do was give them some gifts for their babies.
Seriously kids, I'm not going to talk you into anything and you can stop thinking I'm going to put up with your bullshit because we are related and you think you hold some sort of 'power' over me. I've cut off two of my sisters for doing exactly the same crap and I'm an old hat a divorcing stupid family members.
Oh but I do want to sit back and watch them as they have to fend for themselves, because they have now distanced themselves from their cashcow parents. Major reality check.

Tonight was fun. Great even. The mere thought of you makes me smile still. It's such a rarity that i'm able to be myself. i truly cherish these moments. But it's only a reminder of how it used to be with us. And tomorrow we'll go back to the same old routine of the last year. Watching from afar...waiting to speak to you again.

Our guests are so obsessed about this damn storm that they keep overloading out internet. I'll be the first to admit that we have ridiculously crappy internet for a resort of this size, but I have never seen it crash from excessive use (just go very slowly). I wouldn't mind so much but the people who aren't busy crashing our internet are incessantly calling me and security asking for updates, which we can only get every once in a while due to the internet crashes. If you are this freaked out about the damn thing then perhaps you should have frelling left the resort.

*Sigh* There's just something that requires parents to complain about how their children dress, isn't there? I suppose it's a minor thing, but...really mom? Your daughter is 23 years old and heading off to graduate school in less that a week. Furthermore, she has shown no signs of inability to dress appropriately for the situations she is in. Could you at least keep from "sharing your opinion" yet again on how boring her wardrobe is and why does she need so much black anyway for one week?
