Don't I have to say his name three times?
The Ganagetcha would make a bad-ass tattoo.

Well, you've already said it twice...bwahahaa, you're well on your way to getting gotten...and yes...it would make quite the bad-ass tattoo if I did it up a bit neater, scribbling in Japanese class doesn't make for the neatest of things, though it was meant to be scribbly in any case

Actually, the scribbly-ness of it is what makes the Ganagetcha so cool and unique looking.
Wait, I said it three times...
... AAHHHH!!! SOMEONE HEL-

Well, as Paul Gaugin said, "All art is either plagiarism, or revolution"
Besides, this is a thread mostly for resident artists. Not for other peoples art.
Not bragging on myself, but I highly doubt that the last piece I posted could be called anything but original (and slightly wierd).

Wow Morrigan, way to fucking insult..
Every entry I've seen has it's own original style and intent, so honestly unless you have something useful to contribute that doesn't mock the creative abilities of the other members perhaps you should keep your opinions to yourself.

Oh Morrigan, as I forgot to mention, I'm an Art Major, and in my much more professional opinion, every piece that someone posted here, is one of beauty and of the soul. That's all anyone could ask for in an art piece.

Guys, I think Morrigan was talking about the site s/he mentioned ( www.darkart.cz) rather than this site. I could be wrong though.
Anyway - Kitsune, I love your drowned carousel picture, it's beautiful!
Sanctus - I can't help you with PS as I've never used it, but it's looking good to me! I agree with ED about carrying the highlights/shadow on down the hair though.
And Nike, you're very talented at "doodling" - I wish my doodles looked like that!

Yeah, those posters are funny Oubliette, especially Abe there. And love the collage also!
How about a reprise of that panda-sketch? I thought that was pretty nifty.

I need to put a background of some kind in for my pandas, not sure what it will be however.
I also have this crazy bump frog that I'm working on. I always leave things half done and start new things, trying to rectify that.

That's so cool. You know, that would look good as an album cover. It has a nice blend of weirdness and realism that would suit an indie rock or freak-folk band or something. And I mean that as a compliment, really!
Did you sketch that at the zoo, by the way? I dig the eyes of the panda (mom, I'm assuming), how she just looks right at you...

Thanks mang!
Nope...zoos make me sad. I sketched it from a photo.
The mum is looking at you like "you come any closer and I'll fuck you up!"

That's true, zoos are kinda sad sometimes... Sketching from photos works just fine, even if you don't get many different poses to draw.
It just looked kinda life-like, y'know... maybe it's just the smoke.

The smoke helps things seem dreamlike for me, but perhaps it does the opposite for you. I think I connect with animals better then people sometimes(not that way eww!) and this was a case in point.

Holy Shit Dev, I think you're right... I apologize Morrigan. I took that comment entirely wrong.

That cake is frikkin cool! It actually looks like some furry material.
I have to go an entire week without my sketchbook ... I'll prolly just go out and get a new one tomorrow, though; I'm almost done the one I had to hand in.
I also had my last art class until about four and a half months from now... Ah, well. I'll live.
I'll also put some more sketches on my website sometime.
