A big softie when somebody really needs one.
"Lucky" indeed. So you'll heal him up and find him a home, barring uncovering an owner, eh?
And I'm not sure I'd be in a hurry to return him to said owner ... what was the little guy doing out there on the road without tags or supervision?

In a 60 MPH Highway no less..
Myself and a Trucker came to a screeching stop when we saw him.
The trucker said the car in front of him hit the little guy and just kept going. From the looks of him he probably went underneath the undercarriage. He is really lucky to be alive.
But thats a good point, he shouldn't have been in the Highway with no tags. That is extremely irresponsible. But there is a slim chance he had a collar and lost it too, I guess..
I'll make some calls tommorrow. Either way I will definitely make sure wherever I take him will be a "no kill" facility.
He deserves a chance after that near miss..

Amen!
So, even on days when there's relatively little drama in your life, you can't get by without some kind of excitement, eh?

Night Ben.
Eyes,
He looks like a bigger puppy version of Spencer..
Cept he has cuts on his wee little face..
Uhh and she may be a he.. I really can't tell.. (Haha)
I just took him/her out on the leash I got him, and he sniffed around for awhile and went potty like a champ.
He/She won't let me out of her sight, and is pretty skittish when theres a noise.
And he has a little black nose..
Awwww..
* melt*

Yeah, I'm gonna say the experience scarred him pretty badly emotional. But he'll get better at least. What a trooper.
He sounds adorable. I'm anxious to see him.

Yay!
It is actually warming up outside!
For a while there, I thought that I was stuck in an endless winter.

He has some pretty deep nicks, but other than that he appears to be okay.
He is sweet as can be, and looks like a little Spuds McKenzie..
I got him cleaned up and fed, and now he is sleeping on the back of the couch next to Manimal.
Tommorrow I will try and find a vet to check him out, and see about finding his family.
He has no collar, but maybe he has a chip.
He's so cute though and for now we're calling him "Lucky".
Poor little guy could have been Road Toast, I'm glad I came by when I did.

My cat was rescued from the middle of a busy highway as a kitten, by the wife of the man who was my dad's boss at the time. She's... wow, almost 12 years old now.

Anybody ever heard of Rubber Johnny?
He is a deformed person that can shape shift, supposedly. I was wondering if anybody knew of him.

It makes me happy to know you feel pretty.
I think that ought to be easier to get to than it is, but the human culture isn't that nurturing.
But I am happy. It sounds like a good look for you.

I feel pretty,
Oh so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty, and gay,
And I pity,
Any girl that isn't me, today.
Sorry, Xng, I had to get it out ^_^
I'm debating whether to go to Anthropology or not.

I'm not much on musicals, but I always liked that song. And I think before I was consciously aware of the many ways our patriarchal society is unfair to women, I was subconsciously aware of the battle to find self-esteem that most women go through, This song, in a small way, spoke to that.

I fell asleep behind the wheel at around 4:20 AM and practically destroyed my dad's car. Everyone said me and Rachel were lucky to walk away from the wreck... I wasted my parents money.. I killed the only other car my parents had...
How long does the soreness last, because after sleeping a day my arms won't go above my shoulders... and I can't move my head to the right....
anyone have a general idea? As physical harm to go on, i pretty much was banged around a bit, and the left side of my head just above my ear hit the seatbelt buckle thingy on the side of the door...

Sweetie, you need to go to the ER if you haven't been already.
For real..
You probably have some Soft Tissue damage and possible Whip Lash.
You'll be quite sore for awhile..
But please go to the Doctor..
I am SO glad both of you are okay though..
Cars can be fixed okay?
*Hugs*

You were in a car wreck, you're gonna be in pain for at least a few days. Take some ibuprofin (good for muscle pain unless you're allergic) and take it easy. Do some yoga or stretching and try to work out the aches gradually. You're not going to be the same person for awhile. Your body needs to heal. I don't know if your insurance covers chiropractors, but that can help too. It has no medicinal value, but it'll definitely make you feel a bit better.

Mr E, god, that's awful. I'm glad you're ok. I advise you not to worry a lot about your parent's car, I'm sure their main concern right now is your health. Kisses. I hope you get better soon.
