eulogy an extremely dysfunctional family comes together when its patriarch passes away. the plot was thin in some places, some issues could have been explored more, and some of the "twists" were predictable (though some threw me off), but it had a great cast and a good story, overall. small plot holes aside, i thought it was pretty funny and i really enjoyed it.

Fletch-honestly, and I hate saying this because Mr. Poon is my [Jewish, blogging] idol, but it was disappointing. It had hilarious parts, and he's an awesome character, but... it just couldn't live up to the self-created hype. I expected too much. Also, I like my comedies without any real human emotion or seriousness of any kind, and Fletch had that, goddammit.

I fell asleep half-way through the first one, that gave me some idea of just how worthless the second would be.

I *just* finished "Better Off Dead". I liked it, but I think there could have been more suicide in it. And less romance.

Just saw Grudge. Beautiful! Great special effects, wonderful ghosts. Not scary, but well worth watching. Just wish they'd done the scene shifts a bit more smoothly.
Loved the female ghost! The little boy broke your heart.
Beautiful, beautiful work.

I didn't think it was scary either! What's everyone's fuss about?

I completely agree with gbw and ghostposts, it was a good movie but not scary, though everyone I saw it with was freaking out…maybe they just aren’t used to real scary movies

Like The Blair Witch Project, it was overhyped by people like me, so people went into it with a "alright try and scare me" attitude instead of just relaxing and enjoying it.

That's definately a good point. I go for the special effects, mood and imagery (mental as well as visual). This one has it all.
Moves aren't scary. They can be haunting and disturbing, but not really frightening. News footage; now that's frightening.
Ugh. You want to be scared, watch the news, or read it.

I went to Constantine with Aj and Marcus on friday, then appeased my mother by going to see Man of the house with her.

I loved it. I've seen it twice already! The special effects were pretty cool, I really liked the way Satan and Gabriel were portrayed.

That may have been it. I dunno. Why are you biased toward ghostposts' opinion, anyway? I'm just as cool.
Okay, maybe not.

*Spits coffee* Ooo, that's evil.
*Read's GBW's post. Eyes glaze over.*
Geez, I though it was a conversation, not a "Who's dick is bigger?" contest. Come to think of it, I didn't even know I had a dick.
*Looks down*
Woot! Lookit that baby! Does this mean I can go fuck myself now? People have been telling me to do that for years, but I never dreamed I could accommodate them. *sniff* I'm so happy.
GBW, you are cool. MmKay? Get over it.
Going back to the evil that is Edible, ya know what they say...
It isn't stiff till rigor mortis sets in.
