Here in the middle school I go to, they really have something against goths. No all black, tripps or you know what I mean.

My high school had a very laid back dress code. There were no ridiculous rules but of course, everyone typically abused the tolerant system. There were girls wearing the skankiest outfits, halter tops, guys with their pants sagging to kingdom come, and beer shirts.
They're supposed enforce a strict dress code next year of khaki bottoms and navy blue shirts but I just graduated so I couldn't give a flying fuck.

It's going to be really fun to see how everyone reacts to my hair on monday. For some reason no one in my school has unnatural haircolors even though its not against the rules. I just dyed my hair bright blue, it's the first time I've had my hair such a vibrant color.

Oh gawd, my school was the worst. There were poseurs dying their hair unnatural bright colors every week, Mohawks, and all kinds of funky hair. Don't worry. I'm not trying to say anything about you. I just happened to know how lame people I went to school with are.

My school is pretty sad...There are two groups at my school. The designer clothes wearing gangster wanna-bes, and the "scene" kids. Then there are 3 goths. Considering that my school has about 650 something students thats...well as I said before pretty sad.

Be nice maggot, the only spikes I wear regularly are dull tipped (but the ones I keep in my backpack are nice and sharp for that preppy bitch in the lunch line who thinks I'm not going to kick her ass for cutting in front of me).

Yeah, I know what you mean. My highschool has about 1100 students, most of which are skanks and jocks. Then there are about 10 rockers. And then there's me, the only goth. I get a bit lonely at times. *sheds tear*
The fact that most people there are low-quality is really sad, considering the fact that it's the best highschool in the whole damn country.

I hate the scene kids! I just hate them. Especially when they look at me with this curious and at the same time competative look. As if they think i were one of them and trying to be "cooler" than them.
Apart from the mainstream-subculture-kids we've got the gabbas/pseudo-gabbas and also the designer-cloths wearing stuck up snobs.
The only people I half ways get along with are the drum-n-base people. They are alternative enough for me to have fun with.
I actually like my school though. I love anaysing the people. I seem to know their habits by heart now. And I love studying what they think about me.
But I guess I do get lonely.

Hey! What's wrong with dying your hair unnatural colours or having a mohawk? If that's what they like, then more power to them. I have a bright red mohawk. I like it that way. Next month it might be pink or purple. Does that make me a poseur? I never thought it did...

At my school we aren't really that divided... We all get along to some extant... We do have groups though.. I guess... um... It's an art school... so we have the art kids, the drammys, the music kids, and the dancers [they tend to group together for the most part]
and as for the mainstream people
we have the druggies/rockers/hippies/preps/artzies... just this huge ass group of people xD
And the asians ...
and that's about it... a few other people running around I guess... but yeah.
there aren't really any goths though... maybe 4 or 5 in the whole school. We just chill...

Well, that sounds like my school to some extent, the only difference being that I'm the only true goth in the whole school. The others are just, well, emo kids for lack of a better description. I hate being associated with them. ><

I know what you mean. I don't really care that much about what people think, but it really gets on my nerves when they say that emo and goth are the same thing. Oh yeah, and scene kids look at me as if I we were all in the who's-wearing-more-black-make-up contest. Geez, get a life.

Yes, but I don't beleive that a haircut can make someone a poser. It's just hair- You can do what ever you want with it. If you like it, do it. There is no reason why you have to ACT a certain way to DRESS a certain way. As long as they aren't running around making idiotic comments that aren't true; acting like they are BETTER than everyone else, or claiming to be a part of something they don't UNDERSTAND, they can dye/style their hair however they want.

I was associated with all the greasy head-bangers at my school and it made me throw up in my mouth. I think that's much worse.
And then some people telling me, "You don't listen to any death metal? But you look very gothic." Arrg, then I would just shake my head and roll my eyes at them.

I hate it more when my best friend's christian parents told her to stop hanging out with me because I was "goth" and therefore was going to influence here in to doing "non-christian" things. >< gwah

I know what you mean. I'm always getting called emo, and people are always asking me to see my wrists because they think I cut. When they see that I don't cut then they just think I'm a emo poseur.

What really bothers me about my school is the kids who say they "don't think I'm goth" because I don't wear a whole bunch of make-up. I suffered through my 8th grade graduation in a full length black skirt and a corset top; do not tell me that I am not goth. grr. MSAT, the school I would have gone to closed down so know i get to see those close minded fuckups for the next four years.
