I came home from work once and my dog had gotten into the trash (which he knew better than to do). He had pushed his head down into a potato chip bag trying to lick out the crumbs and it got stuck oh his head. So when I came into the apartment, there he was, careening from wall to wall, blindly trying to get that thing off of his head. And I know I should have felt sorry for him. That is my nature, and a little of me did, but ...

When I could finally catch my breath and stop being doubled over from laughing, I got the bag off of his head. And after what he had been through, I didn't have the heart to yell at him about the trash.
