The current populous is not enough of a crowd for me to continue with this. Your delusional brain is free to interpret this as your victory gothicus.
The sad part is you would rather go on regardless, which is the reason you're such a pathetic child to begin with.
Still, it was kinda fun. See you around indeed.

I did not call your oppinion bullshit. I called your failed view on something you believed to be goth bullshit because it in fact was wrong.

For me, being a Goth is about listening to, and being a fan of the musical genre known as 'Goth'. Goth being a musical subculture based around a style of music that developed out of the Post Punk scene in Britain in the late 1970's. With the so called 'Goth Aesthetic' more or less stemming from the aforementioned music, and the bands that originally created it.
I suppose you're kind of on the mark (sort of) with the idea of Goth being about embracing 'weirdness'. Although I believe there may also be a fair degree of misinterpretation in your statement. Goth was born out of the disenchantment of those who had originally been part of the Punk scene. They had come to despise the commercialisation of Punk. How Punk had become less about an irreverent 'do it yourself' attitude, and more about big business and the mass marketing of a trend. The Post Punk scene, from which Goth derived, sought to change that. To recapture that sense of irreverence, and ironic humour, and 'do it yourself' ideals.
I've been part of the Gothic Subculture for around 25 years. So I guess that makes me an 'Old Scene' follower as well.

Fact is, the gothic subculture is built over those old bands.
You don't even need to dress black in order to be goth.
What goths like and don't like other than the old goth rock bands would be none of my concern at all. I myself am more of a metalhead.
All I am saying is, that one cannot declare him or herself a true goth without listening to the old goth bands.
It is a technical impossibility.
It does not devalue a person's right to wear black, wear eyeliner or their general value as human beings.
But saying that being goth is about embracing weirdness and whatnot is utter bullshit.

At this point, I do believe I'd like to shake your hand. Virtually speaking of course. Always nice to make the acquaintance of someone who understands what the Gothic subculture is about.

I stayed up past my bed time to read all of this thread, which I would normally not bother doing. Riveting stuff.
gothicus, feel free to mock me belligerently on any occasion you see fit.
*drops to the ground before gothicus in worship, muttering* not worthy, we're not worthy . .

Well the King of the Snakes did push a few buttons in my opinion, so did Gothicus. But a king can only reign so long on his thrown before being ousted by a few jokers. It's all talk anyway, drama, useless babbling. Maybe them two should duke it out over a jousting competition.

Hey, I was right. She thought we were going to hate each other forever. My prediction came true: He said something dumb, I schooled him, he left, and I totally forgot about he was here.

Even true love doesn't last forever. Just treasure the brief period of hate you enjoyed so much.
Because, seriously, I know you enjoy this ; )
Why wouldn't you when you're so proficient at it?
