I keep dreaming that I'm vomiting up needles, pins, and broken glass. I've had this dream about five times in the past few months.

I used to dream that I was wandering around a maze-like, plain-walled complex (sometimes with no ceiling)-- Purgatory, perhaps-- waiting to go down into Hell. If I recall correctly, once I was waiting for the Hellevator, which is actually from a movie. Once I was in this place (a smaller version, just a roofless room with a column or closet in the middle) asking some other guy I remember as Peter about a horrible buzzing sound. He replied saying that it was Hell. A few minutes later I woke up and turned my alarm clock off.
I've actually gone to Hell in a few of my dreams, though usually I just sorta bounced around on craters and lava flows. I think that I was a devil/demon thingy once, all round and red with horns and a tail.

I had a dream last night in which I was in a small plane, but all the signs were in spanish and the people didnt know english. When I asked someone to tell me what was going on everyone started staring at me in a autumny haze before they attacked me and kicked me off the plane In midair. Next thing I knew I was in a park full of monuments and lots of green grass, being shot at by some strange people, (I think I was a member of the FBI or something). So I hid in a ivy covered monument, where I was cornered and shot.

I had a dream about a week ago wherein I was being watched by some sort of cult. They were recording my every word, watching my every movement. I don't find it so frightening now, but at the time, it horrified me. I had to leave on all the lights in my bedroom after I awoke from that. Fortunately, though, after that dream came a very pleasant one; a new episode of Monty Python's FLying Circus made it into my dreams. It was extremely funny. It seems your subconcious always knows what to do.
And then-!

The other night I dreamt I was back at school, but the school was right beside the sea.
The waves were washing up on the car-park (parking lot), we were that close.
For some reason we - me, a teacher and some random classmates- had to have a class in a Mini that was parked near the water's edge.
While we were in the car, the tide started to come in, and a wave washed over the car. It was then that we realised that there was a sun-roof and it was open.
We realised this because Mini was half-full of sea-water now.
Before we could close the sun-roof another wave washed over the car and we were fully submersed. I panicked because we weren't able to open the doors.
We escapes by rolling down the window.
But I wasn't happy when we got out of the water.
I had to go back to find something I'd left in the car.
But the landscape had changed so much I couldn't tell were the Mini was.
So I had to swim under the water searching for it.
I eventually identified the area where it was, but there was now a huge landmover or some sort of construction vehicle on the spot where the Mini had been.
So I didn't get my object of desire back
Chock-full of symbols, eh?

I have really disturbing recurring dreams which take place in a sort of salad-fingers-esque landscape :S Full of blobby things and sticks...
I find that my dreams, when I remember them, reflect what is going on in reality, for instance, if it's raining outside it will be raining in my dreams.

Ah-ha, here it is...*ahem*
When I was about five, I dreamed that I was walking around a field that was littered with mound of mulch. It was daytime. So I was walking around these huge mounds of wood chips and there he was: Bloody (literally) Jesus on a cross. I was terrified of crucifixes when I was young. It was a bloody dead man hanging on my dining room wall for fuck sake.
When I was 14, I had a recurring dream. It was different each time, but the gist was the same, and I had it four times total. The fourth time I had it, I was sitting on a friend of mine's porch having a smoke. It was nighttime and I was alone. The only light came from the porchlight. Suddenly, what appears to be a homeless man walked up onto the porch, sat down, and said he was hungry. For some reason, I said, "You aren't going to eat me, are you?" He said, "Only if you try to run away." So we sat in silence for a few minutes and he goes, "Ok, I'm going to eat you anyway." I run to the door and yell for someone named Lauren, though I know no one by that name. At the sound of this name, he runs away and I wake up.
When I was 17, I had a dream that I was at a party with two of my school friends Kristina and her boyfriend at the time, Dylan. This party was at a house just a few doors down from my mother's, where I lived at the time. The people there were looking at me strangely (not like the people do in reality. hehe) and I had a bad feeling. I told Kristina I wanted to leave and that she should come too. She said in a few minutes. So I told her that I was going to walk toward her house (what in reality was our friend Jessica's house) and she was to catch up with me. So I walked out of the house and down the road, where a school is. For some odd reason, a bright, white light was flashing out of nowhere, illuminating everything in sight. In front of the school, I saw some guys. I knew they were trouble so I turned around and made to run back to my house. Then I caught a bullet in my back. Suddenly, I was tied to a log, about ready to be dropped into the Ohio River. Just as they were about to drop me, I shouted something and then I woke up. That one was more weird than scary.
Earlier this year, I watched "Gacy," the movie chronicling the notorious rapist and murderer. That night, I dreamed that he was after me. I don't remember any of the details, but that was the first dream I ever had that made me have a physical reaction. I sat up awake, about ready to scream. My heart was racing and I was breathing hard.
About a month ago, I had a nightmare that absolutely terrified me. For some reason in this dream, the towns Marietta, Ohio (where I used to live) and Parkersburg, West Virginia (where I live now) were merged together. I was at some kind of gathering and a man who I knew in my mind was Michael Myers abducted me, though he looked nothing like the killer we know from the Halloween movies. He had me in his car with some girl who I guess I just made up in my head. We were driving though what I could recognize as Marietta toward the section of town called Devola, where my mom lives. I knew that once we arrived there, he was going to kill me. I asked him to please drop me off at this point so I could go to a friend's house. I can't remember if he said yes or no, but I flung the door open and jumped out of the car and he didn't make an effort to catch me. I ran to where my mom's house should have been, but it was my house. I went through the house to the backdoor. He had put some kind of device on the knob that made it redhot. Desperate to get out, I grabbed the knob anyway and ran out of the house. Then I ran to the motel in Marietta where my grandmother works. Then I woke up, scared out of my wits.
I wish I had Salad Fingers dreams...*sniffle*

I had a dream last night with a classmate of mine who is super smart and super super-y,
and whom I haven't talked to in about a year or so.
We were sitting in chairs and talking to Senora Tritch about adding three more languages, and thats where I woke up.
Weird in a "hey, that'll NEVER happen way."
Huh.

I had a dream night before last that my family had moved into a place exactly like my grandmother's, except a really steep driveway led right up to the living room wall, which had been replaced by a garage door. My brother had a bunch of his friends over and they were all sitting on the driveway, with the livingroom wall/garage door open watching TV...we had these weird lizards living under the kitchen table that my mom kept telling me to catch and get rid of...and my brother's friend (younger brother of my friend) kept leaving tadpoles in the kitchen sink full of water/on the floor in front of the sink...

I get pretty bad nightmares a lot, the really vivid ones that are hard to tell from reality. I hate it.
The creepiest one happened a while back, and it scared me shitless. I don't remember much about it, other than the fact that someone was slitting my throat. I could actually FEEL the sensation of blade parting skin, pain, blood gushing down my throat.
Ugh. It still makes me shiver.

I had a lots a these dreams too, soemtimes my dreams are so angsty that I don't really realise that I'm awake until a few time.
Last nigth I had just a weird dream, where I was having sex with Sean Astin (plays Samwise in Lord of the Rings), while my grandmother was in the room next to us, so we had to be very quiet but he kept on talking to me about his family and his son,who by the way is a daughter in the real life, when I told him so, he just got upset and *poof*, we where out, and we met friends of mine in the street, and Sean Astin's wife, who looked like Mortica Adams under cocaine. And the city, supposed to be Lausanne, was like Sin City, dark and heavy rain.
When I woke up I still was cold because of the rain and actually, I'm still ill at ease because of this dream.

I had an odd dream last night:
I dreamt that I was spending time with one of my older friends (he's 19) and I'd gotten out of the car at McDonalds to go get some take-away food. When I came out of McDonalds there was a random guy in the parking lot crouched down, eating a dead fetus. When he saw me he ran towards me. I ran towards my friend's car and when I reached it the guy exploded.

For the 1st time in like a decade I had a dream last night about a vampire.
I used to dream of vampires being after me all the time, but it's been like a decade since I last had one.
I dreamt that in my current appartment, the guy who lived in front of me was a vampire. In my dream I had a son and he went down there to talk to that guy. I was trying to stop him but I was unable to move fast. I believe I was sick or something. So I called the police and they rushed over. But when they went inside the guys house, my son was laying next to him dead. I walked in and saw his lifeless body and the teeth marks on his neck. I was overwhelmed with sadness and couldn't stop crying.
The vampire escaped but I knew he would be after me as well. My mom and dad (No longer with us and I hardly ever dream of him) came over and gave me sleeping pills to calm me down. I didn't want to fall asleep because I knew the vampire was going to hunt me down. My mom and dad and my sister whom I don't talk to were going somewhere and were going to leave me alone for the night. I had to beg them to take me with them.
I don't really remember the rest but I know I was left alone in the truck and he was on his way for me.

Last night I dreamt that I was in a long, white hospital ward. Instead of human patients all occupants of the beds were broken toys. I was a white doll with a painted face and a blue sailor suit. There was nothing wrong with me, so I jumped out of a window only to be followed by a guy covered in tomato ketchup.
I ran into a garden filled with men wearing suits and diapers. I tried to give a bishop his hat back, but he turned into my mother and the hat turned into 3 or 4 plastic rosaries. She gestured for me to hold them up to a grave that had popped up out of nowhere with her name on it.
The last part of this dream was part of a reacurring nightmare I have quite often, but the first was new.

This morning I had a dream that I was on a bus, going... somewhere. An aquantiance sitting next to me had their pet tyrannosaurus rex with them. He (the dinosaur) was about two feet tall. So he comes over to my lap like a kitten wanting to be petted... and it's nice until he gets hold of my finger. So my finger is in his mouth, he's trying to chew it off, and the bus stops. I'm not certian how I got him off of me (strong grip) but I got off the bus fine. I think then, that I was in a stereotypical conservative christian town... in the middle of a forest. I go to a school (more like a playground day care type place) and look at all the little dress up clothes. A lady comes in and starts talking to me... and somehow I end up in the forest being chased by savage mormons. I then know I'm dreaming, which is way cool in itself... so I wish for someone to come save me. And a tall darkhaired man with a spanish accent appears. So I wake up laughing.
My dreams are ridiculous. I think I'll post more in the morning...

Heh, it's awesome when you find out you're dreaming.
I don't know if it's the same with everyone, but when I know I'm in a dream, it's just like real life: I can now decide what am I doing but I can't control the rest of the people in my dream.

I don't remember my dreams very often. Well, I usually remeber them when I first wake up but then it slips away, and I don't remember what happened in the dream, only that I had one. When I do remember them, it always ties in to whatever happens to me later that day. It's crazy. That, and when I dream about people I know in real life, their face is always distorted somehow, whether it doesn't quite look like them, or it's blurry, or something; but when I dream about them and I can see their face perfectly clear, something (usually bad) happens to them within (typically) the next 12 hours. I had dreams like that the night my neighbor died, the night before my great-grandmother died, and a surprising 2 days before my sister died. Hah, I remember last year I woke up to my alarm clock but somehow snapped right back asleep before I could really register much more than "oh, time to get up", and I was asleep again for maybe a minute maximum, but in that minute one of my friends faces popped up, clear as crystal, and that I was awake again. He wasn't at school that day and I was convinced I'd killed him somehow. He was fine, he'd just had a 24 hour bug or something. And throughout the rest of the school year, I always knew when he would be absent, it was kind of freaky.

I didn't experience this nightmare myself but it still scarred the shit out of me.
I found it a www.cavernsofblood.com
I'm only 15, but in my Nightmare I'm 19... I look up to the sky, a deep blood-red sky. And the sun is black, releasing a strange glow instead of normal light. There are black clouds swirling in the sky. The city behind me is full of agonizing screams and loud gunshots can continually be heard in the distance. But, I'm not in the city any more; I'm in a field, running from the rain. A rain that is like pure acid. Acid that can kill mercilessly. A little girl of no more than five years of age is with me. She has platinum blond hair and strange glowing blue eyes. I do not know her name nor have I ever seen her before now, but I am trying to help her. She is so small and innocent. We are, both of us, in this field that is occupied by a mass of dead bodies. There is only an occasional patch of dry brown dirt amid the slushy and mostly red mud; red from being saturated with blood. Dead bodies lay in heaping mounds and completely surround us. We are running endlessly over the decaying corpses. The little girl then trips and the force of the fall rips her hand away from mine. I want to stop to help her, but the acid rain, it's so close! There is nothing to be done but hope her death is a quick one. Unfortunately, it is not! I turn and call to her to keep moving! "Run! Crawl if you have to! Get out of the rain!" Too late... As she finally manages to stand, and with a wave of tears streaming down her virtuous face, the acidic drizzle covers her unprotected body. I know I should run, but I can't! I'm frozen! She lets out torturous screams of terror as her tiny body is instantly overwhelmed by the excruciating pain. Her screaming is so harrowing and terrible! No one should ever have to suffer like that. I watch in horror as the bubbling acid eats relentlessly through her soft young flesh, blood pouring down her arms like a red waterfall. Her skin has all but disappeared, leaving only vulnerable muscle exposed against the downpour. Her bare skull is visible, and yet she continues to shriek in torment. I watch until her bones crumple and are finally gone all together. The black cloud approaches and I turn to flee. "That fate will not befall me!" My body aches as I run... "How long have I been running? Where am I going? I don't know, but I hope I get there fast!" I can see a cave just ahead as well as a familiar face. A friend greets me at the cavern's entrance. He acts as though none of this bothered him. Maybe it didn't... He's smoking a Camel cigarette. I go inside the cave, but he stays behind. He will not die. I know that, but I don't know why or how. The cave is dark and I seem to walk forever. Things too hideous to describe brush up against me as I walk. I come to a cavernous room. There is a huge fire in the center of the room with many odd psychedelic colors bouncing off its damp grungy walls. Many horrific demons dance around the blazing fire in dizzying circles. I hide behind a boulder and sneak around to get a better look, but one of them hears my movement. The demon is colorful and short in stature (only three feet tall). He turns toward me and imparts a monstrous smile as he continues to perform his strange dance. Even though the other demons are at least ten feet tall, I somehow feel that the short one is the leader... That's about it. However, the nightmare ends differently every time I have it and it never finishes completely.

Quite the detailed nightmare. So much so that it almost makes me doubt it's authenticity as a nightmare and not a work of fiction. Almost. Something about the whole thing seems very real to me though. I don't now what, but it's definately something... Hm.

I'm agreeing with you, Cray... sometimes (in my experience) dreams are very VERY detailed to the point of being scary... hm.
A little background for this dream. I had it a couple years ago... I had fallen asleep on the sofa because my aunt was visiting.
I was in a quarrylike place... with my family... and instead of digging, we were having a picnic on the nice wooden benches. All of a sudden, several monsters (ever seen spy kids? shitty movie.. but the purple snake-necked monsters looked similar to those in my dream..) come over the hill. We go to hide in the vans... but they get there first. They want to eat us. And so I act "heroicly" and put myself forward to be eaten. (HA!) Sliding down its neck felt a lot like sliding into one of those fuzzy tube scarves...heh....I'm not exactly sure what happened next, but somehow a band of theiving centaurs saved me. So I rode away with them... I joined them. My mother tried to wake me up, so my dream skipped a little. We were looting a barn... and as we ran away, I fell behind... on the winding country road came a carriage. There was a lady driving it. Dorothy. On her lap, Toto. She yelled something to me... and mother tried to wake me again. I was in a room, partly covered in water, (the room not me) with a ramp protruding up to a balcony sort of room. I was on the ramp.. a friend was with me... we were trying to climb up. Why? Because there was a lion at the bottom. Covering the steep ramp was grass... made of tissue paper. we grasped at it, climbing to the top... and when we got there, there was another lion. Then the balcony started to shake. Do you know that toddler toy with the shapes- circle, triangle, square- and the holes to fit them into? Well, the walls were like that. But instead of basic geometry, they were the shapes of animals. There was a stampede. When it ended, the lion was gone. So we climbed up and stepped into the different rooms- one with an octupus tank as the floor, one with the door being window blinds (similar to the ones next to the sofa I was asleep on.. hm..) when we stepped into the blinds-door one, a whale tail (Orca maybe?)came in after us. so we had to crawl back out under it. There was nothing in that room. As we looked off the balcony into the water, (the whale had dissapeared o_O ) we saw there was a pedestal.. boat.. thing. And standing on it, calling to us, saying we made it, it was okay now... were Dorothy and Toto.
Then I woke up.

Wow, interesting dream you got there, Ticklish. I have strange random dreams like that too. One in particular stands out because for some reason I was scared in the dream but once I woke up I started laughing so hard.
So in the dream my mom had gotten a pet pig, which we kept in our backyard. However, the people in our neighborhood were very anti-pig for some reason, and kept threatening to run us out of town and kill the pig if we didn't get rid of it ourselves. Then we decided to go out for dinner, and as we were driving away my mom said "I hope the pig will be okay while we're gone..." and my dad responds with "Oh, don't worry about it. ...Although I just realized I left the front door wide open." So we eat, we come home, it's dark, and the front door is indeed wide open. Our yard is full of signs that say "down with the pig!" and "go away, pig-lovers!", and my mom, sister and I are worried that someone might be waiting for us in the house, so we stay on the lawn while my dad goes in to check it out (cause he decided he wanted to be Mr. Macho). In my dream, there's a big long mirror on one of the walls in the entry-way, and I can see a shadow in it but I don't know if it's my dad or someone else. All of a sudden, Freddy Krueger pops up out of nowhere, and my dad screams like a little girl and then faints. So the three of us that are conscious run to the car, but my sister hopped into a different car on accident, and as we're driving off, Freddy jumps in that car (my sister was in the backseat, he didnt see her) and drives after us. We try to shake him off, and then he crashes into us. I get out of the car to make sure we'll still be able to drive off, when my sister switches cars and Mom drives away leaving me in the middle of the road running from Freddy who has the advantage of a car. So I run and run and it's all slow-mo and I'm screaming "Noooooooooo" and then I woke up.
'Twas odd.

Nightmares for me are so regular that I hardly memorize what happenes in each.
I remember instead the calm and pleasant dreams. I think THEY are really the ones, if any, that have a mesage in them.
One was about a cat that really graciously climbed up an unstable pile of books, files and papers to catch a butterfly that was slightly annoying all the people in the room. All seemed to think, "what a talented and wonderful creature" about the cat.
It was so peaceful.
Last night I had a nightmare that was slightly unlike the rest. My russian ex and were on a roof. I was so happy to finaly see him agian. I will not relate all the details, because it is a very dirty and with a not exactly ok-for-children theme. I don't think you want to know.
It was so realistic. I could hardly convince myself afterwards that it didn't happen. I don't think I will ever be able to talk to my ex again after this dream. It was really terrible, and more terrible than any of the earlier nightmare with the blood and all the freaky supernatural shit.
I really do not like that.

Last night's dream made me question my sanity a little.
Me and my g/f and my friend were on a plane and I say to my g/f
"hey come and sit in the back row with me"
She nods saying no, and goes up front with my friend.
I look at them and she has her head on his shoulder.
and it ends.
The reason its so crazy is because our love is stronger than anything in the universe.
and lately I've been losing it.
