Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I think I'm gonna have to say 'Scopes'. It really speaks to me. This of corse is a joke. I do like it, though.

Dark Entries by far. Peter's vocals along with Daniel's guitar in that song just fucking slay! Terror Couple Kill Colonel is also a very great song.

I'm currently obsessed with 'Dancing' and 'The Man With the X-Ray Eyes'. How they never became singles or a hits I don't think I'll ever understand.

My friend's mum is a bit of a fan, she's got a crush on Peter Murphy bless her!
Ah anyways I do love their version of 'Ziggy Stardust'. I must purchase an album next time I'm in town.

"She's In Parties" is my favorite, right now. I love the whining, wailing deathrocky guitars in the song. Even if you can't understand the lyrics, the guitar riffs just make you wanna mope. Cheers!
I also REALLY love "All We Ever Wanted". It's short, but I can relate to it, big time. It's the perfect song for when life just drudges on and on...

I brought 'The Best Of Bauhaus' last weekend. I have to say I've become quite addicted to it. I can't name a single song I don't like on it.

Hey, I've heard of this band
I just love She's in parties, Hollow hills, Passion of lovers, Silent hedges, In the flat field and Swing the heartache.
Not very original, but who cares?

Hm, where to start...
I like Watch that Grandad Go, Third Uncle, Mask, Rosegarden Funeral of Sores, The Three Shadows Pt1 (-3), Bela Lugosi's Dead...
Impossible to narrow down.

Who Killed Mr. Moonlight is my favorite. A friend of mine went on a music-whoring spree and made me a CD of Bauhaus songs... that was the song I fell in love with right away.

Yes! It's probably my favorite, as well. I discovered it, of all places, on an early-80's compilation CD from Starbucks.
