I'm guessing these are mostly misinformed teenagers we're talking about, in which case it's best to take every label they apply to themselves with a grain of salt.

Hey, I'm a teenager. Not misinformed though. Thank you to people here, but I'm very well informed now.

I wasn't knocking teenagers, it's just that most emo kids I've met are under 18, particularly the ones who are clueless enough to claim they're goth.

Exactly,

its the "tweener" age that is really causing the majority of ill will towards the now-more-than-ever-apparent goth community.

The people who are still "finding themselves" and using labels as a way to try to do so. Wearing an image to fit in really doesn't fare well in my eyes...

Gotta love the no tone of voice thing....

But yeah, some vampires are fun in *some* movies, if for nothing else but to get together with your friends on Valentine's day and watch cheesy Bon Jovi vampire movies all night.
And some vampire books are cool too, but for the most part they've been done so many times that they're one of The Ultimate Clichés.

It's okay I knew you weren't. Emo kids make me giggle. They're so depressing, and I mean overly dramatic depressing. I've had emo kids exclaim, "I cut myself on my stomach to make sure no one sees. Wanna look?"
It's like they expect me to be impressed.
