I'm out of town for a few days, and have decided to check next week if it's still there, and take it as a sign that I should take it if it is. I couldn't stop thinking about it yesterday and even had a dream in which I was asking one after the other rat owner if they had room to take this one in.

I doubt the head wound will need vet attention but I always get new additions checked out anyway. The wound looked like it was inflicted by another rat, I'm guessing it's been returned because I never saw rats for sale there before.

I understand what you mean about the horrible conditions of pet stores. I bought a hamster in a pet store, but I spoiled him. He got so fat that he got stuck in one of those gogurt yogurt bottles and drowned in yogurt. The next day, I found him, and I had to cut the gogurt bottle to free him. At least he died happy.

My friend called me last Saturday and said her boyfriend bought a mouse so he could feed it to his tarantula, but she wouldn't eat it and she said "I don't want to kill the mouse, would you take it?" I don't really want a mouse but rather than the mouse die just because her boyfriend is sadistic I told her I'd take it, and she said she'd phone me back later and drop it off.

I never heard back and she won't reply to my text messages. I don't think I'm getting a mouse. I have a feeling there's a dead mouse squished underneath her boyfriend's shoe

I got called in to school to sort my 8yr old out because the teachers let a situation escalate until it was out of control. Typically I couldnt find anyone to sit with my son for 5 bloody minutes. I'm now sat by the phone incase I have to go back in and coax her out of hiding again.

Blah I'm not having much luck writing my paper. It isn't like this paper is hard, its only 3-5 pages and all that is due is a first draft but so far I've only got one page and my mind is just seizing up. Seriously I can't even seem to think in words when I'm looking at it, I just draw a complete blank, or think completely in abstract, neither of which is very helpful.

Oh no, good thing too. No, we put the cameras up after one kid broke the windows and slashed the tires of my mother's car. Ever since, no one has dared try anything. Which is why I doubt this jackass will. This is not one of those small towns where everyone's all nice and shit, but it's also not like LA.

I thought that I'd watch Rambo: First Blood, as it's one of those obligatory experiences given the film's popularity, but I only managed to get through half an hour of it, now I'm annoyed that there's half an hour of my life that I'll never get back.
