Hi End, I love your picture! He's such a sexy boy! Those cheek bones! He reminds me of someone I used to play with, ah, those were the days...*sigh*
Hi WoolfMoon and thanks.

End that looks WAY better... beautiful job. What do you use media wise? It appears to be lead but the slight sepia tint is throwing me off.

You're a strange flying octopus-thing floating above two birdalopes and some stalagmites in a sky filled with brightly colored spheres, a fairy, and disembodied lips?

Nice work, Wiz. I've never understood the way of doing magic by a computer, so I'm quite bad at judging.
Thanks Lena(gave you a chill in what way? )
I'm sorry Sanctus, but I didn't get your question. my English is bad...I mean 'media wise'? *puzzled*

Hi End. I don't think it actually matters whether or not one understands how a picture is made, but only whether one understands its truth. Or to put it simply whether or not one likes it! As I've said in previous posts, everyone wants a better technique, but the only really important thing is what one has to say.

I don't want to put words into Sanctus' mouth, but I think the question is, "What materials did you use to produce that result? What paper, pencils, type of colouring, etc?"

Wizard, that rocks. The "octopus-thing" looks like a cross between a squid and a bellsprout...

Twisted, you are sooooo good to me! I threw a right wobbly in a thread earlier and made a complete fool of myself! Wow, could I have used your most-fabulousness then!
What's a bellsprout?

Oh, but it does. I mean of course I can see it's beautiful and stuff, but I can't give any better/professional comment like which parts are well done and like that and whatnot.
nice, how fucking primitive I am
well I just drew it by a simple normal pencil(5B I guess) and the paper size is A2. It's just normal drawing paper, nothing special.

*cracks up* You can, however, see the vague resemblance to that octopus-thing in your picture though, correct? I hope...
Secondly, I'm not cool enough to have drawn that bellsprout, nor am I cool enough to know who did. I just linked to it for reference sake.
As for blissfully forgetting about the existance of Pokemon, what a lucky duck. It's something I can't seem to convince my brain to let go of...

I friend of mine created this. I thought I would post it here simply to show it off. I think she's an amazing artist.
The drawing is of a character I play in City of Villains.

Good, Lena, good
ummm Phayte? Have you asked a permission of your firend's to post her work here? Some of artists can be very sensitive about showing their work around the world and it's rude not to ask them at first

She's fine with it. A few others have been posted on a different site as well.

Finished some time last summer. There is so much retardedness involved in his hand, why oh why did I ever let myself finish it that way!?

Hi. I understand what worries you, but the whole picture is stylized rather than realistic and the hand does not look out of place. I think the best way to improve technique is to draw your own free hand as many times as possible in as many different positions. That way one learns its form and nature and then even when creating a stylized image, at least you know how it should look. Yep, now I really must follow my own advice.
