At least I don't insult people I don't even know. And all over a stupid signature. That's mature.

Nah.
I have read quite enough since you joined to feel totally comfortable calling you a Twat.
Thanks though.
Besides you felt comfortable enough to tell us to FUCK OFF, it works both ways little girl.

it would seem there have been a few nerves touched and i imagine it has to do with more than an ego-reflecting signature.

I love your new signature, EPS. Even if it was to prove a point, leave it there

i want to work at a half ass fancy hotel on the weekends, the guys here have way too much fun.
i think there was a porno film crew about three this morning filming a short scene of some chick walking out of the hotel and getting in a car. Not sure.

Genuine curiosity here..how is it "ego-reflecting" to want to display the work of a loved one who is trying to express a sincere emotion?

It pretty much sums any competent answer anyone can ever give.

An emotion that had to do directly with you, yes? In fact, the poem is about you, correct?
There's nothing wrong with wanting to display the work. There are, however, much better ways to display it than in your sig, where it will be seen enough times to become a meaningless distraction to every regular member of the boards.
Host it and post a link in your signature, if you wish.

Ok. I get it. Long Sigs suck. Sorry. If it annoys you, I changed it. So let's just let that be the end of it.

your signature spanned 13 lines, as e_p_s stated. to me, i saw a massive and in-your-face spewing of silliness. granted, those words mean something to you - to me, they're just a lot of unnecessarily used space.
you're 15, i think. or 16. you enjoy dropping the fact that you have a fiancee.
you swept onto the forum readily lashing out at the way members interacted without any knowledge of the place.
how is any of this "ego-reflecting"? your signature was just one piece of your attention-craving puzzle. it goes along with the rest of your quickly established attributes for calling attention to yourself.
that's all.

Thank you.
Having a shorter sig makes it more likely that it will be read.

I think the JC (not the walking-on-water kind) movie that cracked me up the most was Me, Myself & Irene. Just because I'd heard absolutely jack about it, assumed it would be shite since it starred Jim Carey, then watched it on channel 5 one nite and wound up pissing myself over the cow (metaphorically speaking). It was all pretty random. *looks around and realises which thread she's in as a big, shiny penny drops* Hey... what do ya know...

and i say - whether it's read or not, it doesn't matter. i didn't even care if it was changed. it just bothered me to look at it.
everyone puts something beneath their name that means something to them - but there's a difference between a line or two and a dissertation

My kingdom for a fireplace. For now I will have to settle for turning up the heater and making a cup of hot chocolate.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I was never trying to call attention to myself. I only joined this Board in the first place because there are very few people in my town that are like me or anyone else here.

& as far as the Banshee quote..I knew that. I just like the Banshee version better.

I will say was thinking the same thing ... and not just about your signature. There are a number of people here who have signatures like unwelcome relatives who keep saying goodbye but won't ever leave. Keep your sig and no need to apologize ... it's just how I feel.
On the song lyrics, however, I must point out that it is customary to credit the lyricist when quoting lyrics, no matter whose performance you prefer. It's not just me that's saying that ... it's the world. I like the Banshee version, but even they had the good sense to credit Lennon and McCartney.

Yes, you're right. Part of why I took that out also.

i don't know you.
you have been working to call attention to yourself - and you've been getting it, although likely not the kind you were hoping for.
either way, i really don't have anything else to say on the topic of you, 6blades - not now, anyway.

Look, trust me. The last thing I want right now is attention. Of any kind. I'm done.
