Jack: I've used toilet paper and tissues quite a bit. Or empty chocolate wrappers. Receipts would be a step up haha.

Oi, first post here, kind of joined because of this thread/subboard, so I figured my first post should go here!
Love all of the stuff on this thread, especially all the stuff regarding stencils. This past year, me and a friend had set up a sort of assembly line for making them, we did it so we could move individual elements of the stencil around and rework designs if one arrangement of a logo didnt look good. A couple pics of recent stencil work
Blurry shot of a new stencil on a jacket with a couple others

Stencil Close up
http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._7471175_n.jpg
Done via photoshop, contact paper, x-acto knife w/ #11 blade, new black fabric, white acrylic spraypaint with hand brushing in details
Errr ... other diy stuff I've done, (and i see here people post links, not images, so I'll try to stick to the rules and do that)
Skinny Puppy Inspired/recreation Canvas strap vest, done completely from scratch using a 2 yard long section of canvas fabric from jo-ann fabrics, some needles and thread and fabric glue, d-rings pilfered from pants, and run over in the driveway to look beaten and dirty and generally the way something on stage would look
http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._4473909_n.jpg
http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3956358_n.jpg
Also numerous pairs of plaid pants redyed to an appropriately dark color, lots of zippers, d-rings sewn on, one pair with side by side grommets in places for attaching straps ( one pair of these got someone to remark "are those tripps" th which I immediately threw them away) I'll try to snap some pics of those.
And that's about it aside from a pair of leather boots which I painted white and splattered with fake blood, then beat up and polyurethaned over to preserve the paint, and added chains to the back to make extra noise, I'll also take pics of those tomorrow!
So thats about it, hopefully some of this stuff will seem vaguely interesting
Sorry for the kinda long post

Derp double post. wanted to mention that the vest is about 50% done and is not done in the pics due to moving halfway into the project and not being entirely unpacked yet. Thing wouldnt let me modify the post because of shit tastic 7 minute rule which is really fairly lame. Oh well.

I've done a bit of stuff recently...
Not much, just a little bit of painting and bleaching of my new denim jacket.
And a patch for my bone jeans.
I'm currently working on a Rudimentary Peni back patch for my denim.
I wanna use multiple layers of black and white canvas to create a 3d effect.
I did a tiny bit on my leather too, but I'm gonna do more before I post any pictures.
Expect a huge update at some point...

I still don't know what to do on the back of my leather. Today I painted one lapel in alligator skin print stuff, and the other one in zebra. =D

I was thinking of kinda putting velcro on the back so I could make a a large number of backpatches, and then I could switch them to suit my mood.

Fuckin' genius.
I was just thinking that no one has made a post in here for a worryingly long time.
I'm starting on a jacket, I'll think of something for a back patch (likely Cinema Strange) and I'm stealing Cicero's design for the Rozz shirt.

I forgot to do my Voodoo Church/bloodstain/Robert Smith/Elvis hoody.
I'll do it later.

I made this cute hoodie once - those ones with cat ears were in style and i am too Jewish to buy stuff, so i cut finger holes in a cheapo black hoodie, sewed cat ears and sewed them on so they stood up on the hood.
because parts were ripped up (part DIY, part wear-and-tear), my mom threw it away and i almost cried... i had so many memories in that hoodie...
but it did turn out pretty!

Jesus dude, nice Cthulhu patch there.
Because I'm unoriginal, I used Cicero's Rozz design for a shirt. Pics may be posted later when I have more stuff to show.
What kinda fabric do you guys use for patches? I'm sick of having a shitload of stencils and having almost nothing to paint on.

I use white or black canvas.
The Cthulhu one on those jeans is canvas, with some horrible transfery stuff on it.

I just finished my Delirium (from Sandman) doll. The only thing I didn't make was the actual cloth body; the hair, eyes, clothing, and jewelry I made myself.
Her hair is "buzzed" blonde in the back and long red/teal/pink/purple in the front. One eye is a tiny lapis lazuli (blue) bead, the other is green jade. She has a copper hoop in her right ear and a silver bead necklace (will be replaced with a chain and tiny butterfly charm when I can get to it).
She has a black raincoat, red plaid jeans, a bleached grey halter top, and ripped black pantyhose. I need to make her boots, but I don't have any scrap leather on hand.
My camera is broken, so I put her in the scanner. I really need to get better pictures of her.. this one doesn't do her justice.

My next doll will be Dream/Morpheus.. maybe (eventually) all of the Endless, perhaps.

Easter Island/voodoo head thingy, carved during extreme boredom. The picture doesn't do it justice.
edit: it's got a hole through it's head, so it's going on my jacket later.

I'm liking the Moai, Jack. A cool idea with very cool results.
I'm on a desperate search for another vest that fits, or that I can force to fit, since I've been craving something to patch up and sew bones and shit to.
In the meantime I made a completely historically inaccurate Cleopatra costume for Dead Famous. I'll be dressed entirely in black and gold with a green deathhawk and buckled boots. Should be interesting.

For all we know, Cleopatra could have had a death-hawk.
