I enjoy your dry delivery of humor; and am envious of your cloak's clasps.
Such dry wit is reminiscent of English humor, delivered with a serious countenance, whilst uttering absurdities. Good show!

Dear GothicusMaximus:
Why did Beta fail against the VCR, and is it in someway linked to the stock exchange crash of 1636?

Dear Godslayer Jillian,

This question is, as you may know from my previous posts to this forum, one of particular relevance to me personally, as I am an avowed Betamax enthusiast. For what reason did Beta, for all intents an purposes a superior format to VHS, meet its tragic demise? Because the corporation known as Sony, in my far from humble opinion, was, is, and likely always will be, managed by idiots. In essence, the company failed to recognize two critical truths, the first of these being that Betamax was not suited to compete with VHS in a battle to become the preferred format of the average home video viewer, but rather ideal for targeting the niche markets of filmmakers and audiophiles, and the second of which being that picture and sound quality were, in the mind of the average home video viewer to whom they foolishly chose to market Betamax, of secondary importance to maximum recording time. The patently lamentable discontinuation of the format is accountable solely to this stupidity, in no way related to the stock market crash of 1636, which is a fictional event.

Quelle domage,

Gothicus Maximus

I would like to field a question of my own, if I may. How, from my persistent denial that I possess psychic powers of any kind, did you receive the impression that you were free to ask questions as though I have psychic powers?

Dear Solumina,

Perhaps you do not know your bra size, and are relying on an individual who has never so much as seen your photograph to, through the use of clairvoyant powers he never claimed to possess, reveal it to you. Alternatively, you either have a flat chest or freakishly huge tits.

Sorry about your deformity,

Gothicus Maximus

Yeah, I've seen enough women with too-small bras to last me a life-time. Makes one look like one has 4 boobs.

Gothicus, what is your preferred method for concentrating on studying when one has a part essay, part short-answer exam on 15th century Italian Art in a day and a half? >.<

This is the problem that I am trying to avoid. Damn my freakishly large boobs...oh well at least they are fun to play with ^.^

I had a friend with giant boobs... and then she got a bunch of push-up bras... "by accident."

Dear LaBelleDameSansMerci,

Endowed as I am with deific intellect, olympian physical strength, and enviable social graces, I have never personally been confronted by a single challenge for which I needed to prepare in any significant way. However, for those who do, I highly recommend flash cards, or as they were originally called, Gothicus Maximus Cards, a superb studying tool which I, out of pure altruism, invented several years ago. Your textbooks are virtually useless at this point, eschew them and direct any questions that Wikipedia fails to resolve directly to me. If you should still be unprepared after several hours of studying in this fashion, make sure you don't try to fudge the test. Instead , answer the questions in an obnoxiously facetious manner, which communicates clearly your belief that you are too cool for 15th century Italian Art, or, if you prefer, simply walk into the testing area and go to sleep as soon as possible. Though you will fail, your dignity will remain intact.

Arreviderchi,

Gothicus Maximus

LOLacaust, for lack of a more politically correct and less inherently retarded text speak term.
