I didn't mean to come off as "persecuting", as that was far from it. But the jist I'd gotten from the discussion came off as a joke; and I was mistaken, I admit that. So I'll apologize for misconstruing the situation.

As for being sensitive, I have every right to be so concerning this matter, as it is, and will continue to be, a very, very sensitive issue. The rabbit's death hit me hard, so even if it was Lilith you were mocking, it indirectly affected me, too.

And I also didn't mean to just point you two out, but yours were the most recent responses, and the other offtopic discussions that went on in this thread are vast, so I couldn't very well address each one individually.

So, to be fair, I just want people to stop the off-topic discussions. No, I'm not saying shower me with sympathy, I'm merely saying show a bit of respect regarding the matter. My rabbit suffered a violent death; and talking about your hamsters or cats, Redwall, or about Icelandics and rats in this thread, comes off as rude and inconsiderate.

Here in the United States, one has to be pretty spectacularly stupid to not find SOME university for which he or she is qualified, and the same essentially applies to law school.
As I said, I don't know much about Scotland, but I'm assuming the gulf between the academic institutions of our respective countries isn't so great that, in yours, one can assert oneself as intelligent simply by declaring "I GOT INTO A COLLEGE!".

I agree with you. My IQ is near genius and I make perfect grades and I have no doubt I could get into a law school (not that I'd want too)......and I still consider myself completely retarded, as do half the people I know. I have the reasoning skills of a cantaloupe.
