And I do not believe that only "complacently nice people" ever get to be happy. If I wanted to talk about my beliefs, I'd be in my philosophy class, arguing about Hobbs and Locke. So "If you're mean and easily angered, you probably either need medication or are already medicated!" isn't an unqualified assumption based on the idea that to treat everyone with abject kindness is the "right" way to be, and that I won't be as happy as I could be until some drugs "correct" the "problem"?

Shade doesn't really take part in conversation. He just sides with the popular girls and acts cute when he's wrong and runs away. He's like the innocuous gay friend every girl has in high school. He's nothing but wallpaper and aesthetic with absolutely nothing going on behind the metaphorical pink satin curtains.
