Reanimating a half-dead thread, but I just wanted to put my recommendation in for Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear black nail varnish - cheap and holds up like nothing else - and Got 2 B Glued hairspray. I've actually converted from my trusty AquaNet for this stuff. My hair is a triumph of gravity-defiance now.

As for the foundation debate, I do use it daily. Not because of breakouts or a "finished" look, but because when I hit puberty, my skin developed odd colouring. A couple of yellowish places, some red splotchiness on occasion. I use Estee Lauder, and then only lightly. There's nothing actually medically wrong with my skin, but I like looking the way I think of myself, if that makes sense.

have you try to go to the sauna ?
that usually help to cleanse your skin.

I did go a few times when it first began, and I tried two years without makeup of any kind paired with drinking loads of water and taking vitamins; but it doesn't seem to be a clogged pores or oily/dry skin problem. It's just a kind of unevenness in skin colouring. I don't know, it's likely quite common and normal; but I still like to glance in the mirror and have the illusion of a flawless complexion. If the foundation doesn't exacerbate it - which, fortunately, it doesn't - I suppose I'll keep wearing it as the solution. What can I say? I'm unapologetically vain.

Hrm, I haven't tried that. It would be very nice to save the money I spend on foundation, and the rest of my makeup (the everpresent eyeliner) would be fine by itself. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bought an eight dollar liquid liner that blows chunks. Threw it away but when I go and get more I will tell you all which brand it was so you can avoid eight dollars of fail.
