Basically, I'm an audiophile bass player. Subphonic just seemed to fit and roll nicely off the tongue.

I would've gone as haolike as my usual username.

I looked up my name in a book one time, and it listed "prophecy of doom" as it's meaning. Most name books just list "prophecy".

I started using my username ages ago. Originally it was going to be rainofblood (not very original), but that was taken so since I like the name Raine I used Raineofblood. Then Raine turned into a character aka my alter ego who is also the main character in my little comic series (Grimsville). So ever since the comic idea started up raineofblood has become a very meaningful username.

I had first seen the name biohazard on my sister`s myspace. Then, I found out my favorite video game (resident evil 4) was called biohazard 4 in japan. I also wanted a new screename, my old screen name is "dark wargreymon" but I am starting to get bored of it. So I used biohazard instead ^^

My preferred name is Edward (Rozz had one too, so why can't I?), so I just shortened that up a bit and added an "evil" to give it a punk vibe, like "Johnny Rotten".

As for 667, there are several reasons. First, I heard the number on a game called Max Payne 2. "667... neighbor of the beast. Get it?" I love that game SOOOOOO much.
It also rolls off the tongue quite beautifully.
Besides that, it's a humorous play on the "666" most baby bats put in their usernames in an attempt to appear "dark" and "sinister".

When i was little, i got a kick of going by the psedonym of Anne. Some of my freinds really thought that was my name.

When i went to summer camp one year, all the kids in my tent had nicknames. I was named Maggot, and i can't say i minded very much.
This was before that dumb disney channel movie came out by the way. It was also before i started dressing goth.

what i'm really proud of is i thought up this username all by myself. i even googled several versions of it, and the only thing that came up was an old ********** drawing. now, though, there are tons of people who have stolen my username.

Psyche was a mortal woman so beautiful that Aphrodite herself became jealous of her. When she (Aphrodite) sent her son Eros to make her fall in love with an ugly man, Eros fell in love with her. He attempted to keep his identity a secret from her, but when Psyche discovered who he was, he left her. Psyche searched the Earth for Eros, and eventually they were reunited.

Basically, I identify with the notion of searching for a lost lover, or a soulmate as yet unknown (the whole Platonic idea that our original form was of two people conjoined, and that when were physically split we began our search for out soulmate). That, and I've spent way too long staring at a painting that was in a recent exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery, entitled "Psyche at the Well of Forgetfulness", by J. Herbert Macnair. It's the painting in my avatar.

My username reflects my self-sacrificial nature, as well as a kind of duality in my personality. I also just chose it because I think it's pretty. Pretty profound, huh?

Orginally my name was something I made up for my fiction site one night. A friend of mine quoted something. "He looks like waxfruit, juicy and pretty to eat but when you bite into him it's a whole different story" yes we were talking about j-rockers right there XD So I thought....hmmm Tea and waxfruit. Now that's sounds like something id wanna read fiction from! Hahaha...

Hmmm...It was a spur of the moment thing. I wanted to give myself a more positive vibe, even if I'm not happy all the time, I have my name to make everyone think otherwise.

It's the name of my first cat when I was 3. I named her Linen for some reason... I'm not sure where a 3-year-old hears the word "linen" or "linens" as recently as the 80s, but somehow it popped into my head.
