maybe... but wouldn't that then be rather... meaty cake? And here I was, thinking that cake isn't supposed to be blood-soaked.

Thunderstorms actually kind of make me horny. Especially if constant lightning and heavy rainfall are involved. Is this normal?

Normal for you? Maybe. Nothing is normal for everyone ... except maybe sucking air once in a while!
...
I am so over the great outdoors at the moment. It's 98F degrees and humid outside and they're spraying the neighborhoods for mosquitos. That stuff stinks! Sheesh!

Eeeuch!
Do you ever suck extra strong mints? On a hot day, I've found them the only way of knowing that any air's going in when I try to breathe... The only problem is, I end up with old-aunty-breath.
That spray stuff's not giving you a headache, I hope?
:hugs:

Nope, no headaches ... just that foul odor. The good news is, I couldn't smell it while I was inside. Thanks for asking!
I was just trying to post something random. That was the best I could come up with in an uncreative moment that ... er ...
oh, look ... a shiny thing that should be distracting to you ... er ... aw, crap!

It's practically snowing down here in the southern hemisphere... I do not miss the mosquitos, but i certainly miss a week where we have atleast one day without rain.
Have you ever tied using mosquito repellant on windows? I found that if you use the the right stuff, everything that lands on that window will die. This usually goes on for several months, but i use this crap military 80's issue stuff... burns the hell out of your face.

Lack of autonomic nervous system functions got you down? Well, cheer up! Think of the many advantages there are to being the living dead.
No more concerns about air quality to worry about. Ozone alerts, Smog, Carbon Dioxide; it's all the same to you!
And zombies enjoy a widely varied diet. From cat corpses to human con carne, the world is a delectable buffet full of protein platters!
And no more concerns about the envirement. What difference does it make to you where they bury that toxic waste. In fact, drink up some of that irradiated water ... you could use a little glow!
So stop making those payments on your health care plan. What's the worst that could happen? Oh, wait, it already happened. YOU'RE DEAD!
You won't be needing to make those car payments or pay for auto insurance any more. The only traveling you'll be doing is that lurching gait you've recently developed. Actually, you're kinda hoping there WILL be a few car wrecks in your future!
In fact, being a zombie may be the single biggest money saving move you've ever made. Don't pay the cable bill ... zombies don't watch TV! Don't pay the phone bill. After a half dozen calls to your place only to hear "neeeaaarrrrgggghhh-aaaawwww-gooooooorrrrrggghhh!", your friends will stop dialing! Don't pay the electric bill - the living dead are not afraid of the dark!
So, I'm telling you to look on the bright side of being an animated corpse. And don't forget: the dead don't pay taxes!

It's been a hot one recently. Ben knows what I'm talking about of course. Houston is just about worse than anywhere else in TX because of the extreme humidity.
The devil's asshole ain't got nothing on this heat. It's been triple digit a few times already here in Dallas as well. Jeez, I'm glad I work nights.

Korova, you're right about the heat. I think it was Monday or Tuesday that we set a record with a temperature of 100F degrees! I start work at 11:30am, so I feel it when I go in. However, with an overnight low of 75F, I don't see as how nights are much better. Maybe it's okay when you get out, but ...

Anyone seen the Dodge Caliber commercial with the monsters? *cracking up* "It scares the *beep* out me!" "Perfect. That's exactly the reaction we were looking for..."
And, 103 by Wednesday, yum...

Oh Ben, it's worse than that. Every time I watch the weather channel, we have set a new record. I think at the very least five records have been broken this year. I'm sure it's at least twice that though.
Kit: 103? At least I think I've figured out that you must live somewhere in the south.
