I like the name papillon, It sounds romantic. Then you add soir, and it sounds even better.
It's midday here, and another bout of rain is swamping the country. Fine and dandy with my long legs.

That's probably just over here.

I quite like the 'dandy' bit - makes it sounds as though they've got one redeeming feature at least!

And he spoke of pastures green
I was never told why
Each journey lasts an age
And my throat feels dry
It must be the lesson
Hidden deep inside
It must be the lesson
So roll the tide

So I began the crossing
My throat burned dry
Searching for Satori
The kick in the eye
I am the end of reproduction
Given no direction
Every care is taken
In my rejection

Kick in the eye (x4)

Every care is taken
With my rejection
And my abduction
To my addiction
Every care is taken
With my protection
And my abduction
From my addiction

Kick in the eye (x4)

It's getting better. It's not so much in turmoil anymore.

Yeah, only 'cause all the people protesting the state of the place have left / been banned... it's not like it's better because the admins have taken members' views on board. It's just quieter because many of the most powerful voices have been chased away.

Actually it's "Papillon de nuit", not "soir", "soir" is more like "evening".

Now this place is truly little else but an illiterate clusterfuck of pseudo-intellectualism, co-dependent vanity, and entitlement. That speaks volumes about the state of this mockable union.

In a word?

Vapid.
*nods vigorously while draining drink* (Hope you appreciate the support missy, this is harder than it looks!)

I have to say that this forum has always had traces of this... at least since I joined, which wasn't long ago, I'll admit. But at least there was some stern voices to whip the kiddies into shape...

I'm finding it harder and harder to wade through the posts... I'm kneck-deep in whiney, illiterate meaninglessness, followed by futile "watch your grammer (sic)" posts...

But yeah. It's not the spelling and grammar. It's the petulence and the laziness.

Life is life and we all make typos or goof grammar. There are also non-native Englsh speakers around. I like the arrogance shown by 16 year old mono-linguists on the topic. >snip<
As to the drivel... well, this is the bed the admins made. >snippety<

True, about this always being an issue- the vapidness... but it was not always this bad. I mean, dude. The troll count alone and the lack of admin action and mod capabilities granted here... duuuuuuude.
What more can I say that hasn't been said already, except "Hear, hear!"

*Stares at the screen 'til it becomes a blur*
