Once you get purling down you're laughing, I found videos on youtube really helpful when I was learning. Also I got Stitch N Bitch recently which really made me want to knit a lot. I've known how to for a while now but it was something I just picked up every now and then, but that book makes me want to knit like crazy. I already got my after Christmas projects planned out.

Yeah I bought Son of a Stich N' Bitch for my boyfriend and in a week he was knitting reversible argyle while I was stuck on the damn knit, dropping stitches and shit.
I'll give Youtube a try, thanks.

I took an ancient Anti-Cimex patch off my old vest, put it on the back of my current vest. looks pretty good, ahd to add some more studs because of the different sizes. I toook the Chaos Uk patch of, thinking of putting that on my pants.

I've pretty much finished my latest vest minus the backpatch, will post pics soon. I'm thinking of doing another soon too, but I'll need to find another jacket to cut up.
If I can't find one however, I'll make the book bag I've been planning on making and the two tshirts I have laying about to experiment with bleach upon.

I've made a collar out of the better shaped piece of the Reindeer hide offcuts I bought today. It took me around 10 mins to sew the strap on and it's done.
A piece of super soft fine leather is what holds it on. I sewed it onto one end and it attatches at the other by a button underneath. I just snipped a buttonhole in the leather.
And how it looks on ^___^ It's really warm and I've only had it on a few minutes!

I need some advice, you see how in this photo fishnets have been used. How do you go about getting the fishnets to stay in place on the fabric?
Examples:

Thanks.

I'd say Fabric glue or possibly superglue was used there unless they've been pinned on from inside the jacket, or sewn on really well.

Hmm...I might try that also, at least it's cheap enough that I can try out multiple methods of application without costing myself too much.

Oi 'gaunt.
I have a similar thingumy on my leather.
I looped it round the epaulette, then pulled it down the sleeve and pinned it on the inside of the cuff.

Sorry, last one with my shitty camera phone I swear, but I wanted to take a picture of them before I give them away. I made a red and white scarf for my mom (I honestly didn't know what she would look for in a scarf) and I finished the green keynote scarf. The blob in the left hand corner is actually the Christmas tree I made last year out of garland and coat hangers :3 Maybe I'll get a good picture of that when I get my camera.

Yay, summer's coming around now. No jackets for me. It's too warm in winter still.
When I stop being lazy I'll post some pictures of recent stuff. Gonna make an Aphex Twin hoodie too but that's not gonna be anything too spectacular.
Some day when I get the inspiration I'll destroy a pair of jeans. Bleach or something.
BTW, Cosmic, your links didn't work except for the Batcave one? o.0

No accomplishments, but I did end up with several yards of what should have been a skirt and top combo but what turned into dog bed stuffing.
I have no patience.

I've been lazy and haven't done anything, and I don't think I will today either. Apparently it's going to be 39.

No idea what the weather's like here as I hardly go outside, but you guys have it lucky. We had 49.5 in Jan/Feb. Still, all of Australia is pretty crappy weather Hobart is nice though.
I gotta remake my Cure shirt too =\ It's a rag now.

Since my squirrel didn't have the decency to decompose properly and ended up as useless bits of shit, all I was left with is the skull of a sparrow, 3/4 of a blackbird skull and a few leg and wing bones. Combine these with an old hair clip, a bit of reindeer hide and some beads and wire, and you get this
