its disgusting because you need to grow up. Life is not always a walk in the park with a slice of cake, it sucks and its hard. And to those that want to express themselves because they are struggling to keep up faith in love and life (such as myself) it is reassuring to say it and have someone respond that actually gives a crap about others, im still waiting for that person to respond. And if your sifting through my crap, just skip the logo of the marine corps. and you wont have to read my shit.

I enjoy life, by the way. I'm generally pretty content, and I even have moments where I am deliriously happy. Counter-acted of course, by moments when I am very depressed.
Being sarcastic is just a way of making the bad things funny, and easier to deal with. There's nothing wrong with it.

People who aren't witty (ie the wannabe marine) can't truly under sarcasm. You've noticed those people who don't understand sarcasm or dry humor, or who try to pull it off and fail horridly.
Thus, it confuses them, and they take offense.
 Manwhore is funny. He really doesn't understand these basic concepts.
He's also still completely self-centered, which is the exact opposite of the mindset of a Marine, contrary to his claimed outlook. It's more the outlook of a 7-year-old.
