Love is a god damned betraying son of a bitch. You give and give, and you think the feelings are mutual, but they're not, and it hurts. And unrequited love is the worst feeling in the world. It makes my blood boil, and I swear I almost want to die... because love is cruel.... and love doesn't love me. Love never loved me... and I think it will be the death of me. Love is tragic and it drains all our energy until it kills us, when we waste away and die. Love is my worst enemy because it grabs me by the hair and throws me to the ground right when I'm most vulnerable. It brings back my suicidal thoughts.
What is love? I know not the kindness of love...

My friends and family have been telling me about my self-esteem for years. I don't know. I think I have a problem with confidence. All my friends tell me to be confident, but when I do, I end up scaring them away. My mother tells me that I come on too strong. My first boyfriend called me clingy. I don't know what to do to fix this. When I see a guy I like, I get nervous because I want to get him before someone else does. It always works out the opposite way...

I don't like the dictionary meaning of love associated to sex. Sex is one on one.
Love, I think, is more spiritual. Love can be infinite and not limited to the significant other relationship.
