I have to start work in a half an hour. Please don't let them take me.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Boss comes in the MS floor with a shotgun and then sets the guards on her. The guards grab her while she is kicking and screaming*

Sometimes my imagination gets the best of me.

I swear, I like watching anime but making it sucks, I would never want to work with flash for a living.

My old credit card got a crack in the magnetic strip, so I called and had them send me a new one. It arrived in the mail, and I stuck it in my purse so I could activate it this morning. I pulled out my cell phone and dialed the number I was given, and when the automated operator answered, I though, "Wow, the operator sounds really hot. And what's the $0.99 per minute abou- OH."

It turns out I had dialed 1-800 instead of 1-888.

Then I laughed for the next 5 minutes. My coworkers are all wondering if I've suddenly gone mad.

They're telling us to correct this web page, but I see no typos - instead, they really want us to write lines and lines of code that we haven't learned yet. So, I'm blowing it off and posting here instead.

You know what? I really am just that bored. I'd love it if you'd share the number.

Edit: Oh wait, now I understand your story XD

Haha! The same thing happened to me at work. I was trying to activate a boost moble phone card for a customer. When I dialed the customer service number, some lady with a sexy voice started talking, I was like, "hmm..." Then I realized I had dialed 1-800 instead of -888 when she started talking about sex. I think the customer must have thought I was crazy laughing at myself.

's been a while...

::fades into view::

Hi everyone...

::sheepish::

I know I've been gone a LOOOOOONNNG while, but I've been incredibly busy... sewing and what not.

I took on a few costume commissions for an upcoming convention, and I had to rid my surroundings of all distractions, which basically meant

"computer shall be used for research, paying bills, and communication to customers ONLY!!"

(...which was the purest of torture for me, by the way...)

...and it's a bad habit of mine to disappear without warning anyway. I broke protocol to let you guys know that I'm still alive, and I'll be back after the 15th of this month (with pics of the costumes I worked so hard on!!)

So for those of you who actually missed me, I'll see you all then.

Lipstick kisses for all,

~BB~

::fades out::

I'm writing again, using characters I've had in my head for ages. I can't stop drawing them, either.

Have ya'll noticed that no one has posted in the commentary section for 2 weeks, now?

Damn, I'm getting southern. This is the third time in 30 days that I've said "ya'll."

There was a demonstration/protest here in L.A. about the illegal immigration situation, and it ended up getting disorderly, so the L.A.P.D. broke out the riot gear and fired rubber bullets into the crowd. Needless to say, the demonstration ended soon after that.

when I woke up today my dog was about three shades darker than he should have been and now we have lovely paw prints all over our newly painted deck.

Your dog seems to have been mudwrestling with the pigs.

He's not muddy, he just rolled in wet paint.

I saw a sticker on the back of a truck that gave me a bit of a chuckle. It read "You're driving a car, not standing in a phone booth. Get of the effing Phone!"

I though that was a good point. The worst sticker I've ever seen was the one back in the 80's that read "One nuclear bomb can ruin your whole day."

Ehhh ?

So I went to my walking class today and I got a lot of compliments from chicks. One said that I looked like I lost a lot of weight and the other one wondered why I didn’t have a girlfriend. Little does she know…..

In addition to my normal walking I’m now doing sit-ups which must be the reason why they think I’m losing weight. The weight loss and compliments, either way it feels good.
