yes, one evening last week my grandmother told me to get ready to go somewhere and it turned out to be...a surprise summer job! Just what I wanted to do on my summer vacation...oh the joy...I wish she would have asked me if I wanted a summer job...

My father did that to me one summer, I ended up spending two months working in a greenhouse pruning rose bushes and watering plants.
My mouse is acting all weird; it freezes my cursor at the most inappropriate times. I’m afraid I may have to invest in a new mouse.

Cool. My first word was "Daddy". He was holding a dish of frozen yogurt in his hand, and I wanted it.

I didn't really have a first word so much as a first paragraph (my mom was getting worried that I was going to have speech issues because it was taking me so long to say my first work and then one day at lunch I just poured out a coherent paragraph)

Are you sure you want to try and make it? You have to use a hand held propane torch! I am serious. Fun! The problem is that torching things becomes addictive, then after you torch the top of the creme brulee, you torch a rose, you torch a lamp in the living room, you torch bugs in the yard, and then that neighbor's rottweiller that you always hated, and then you go downtown and ....
:: stops and looks at everyone staring. Puts down blowtorch. Walks away whistling ::

0_o ... you don't need a blowtorch...but you could use one if you wanted. I made pumpkin brulee last week, all you need is an oven.

The lightning is amazing! and the thunder! We don't get storms here very often, but it was quite warm today ( we are having quite a wet cool summer ) so I can only guess that the air pressure has been having a party and thus! BEHOLD! Proper forked lightning too , not just that sheet rubbish. The rain is freezing! I was standing in it ( not a wise idea conductivity wise but oh well )

I was awakened by the thud of lightning touching the ground a few days ago.

There was a thunderstorm here last night but it was behind a moutain so everytime the lightning flashed is would light up the whole sky and you could see the silouete(sp?) of the mountain and some nearby trees, it was wonderful. The lightning kept coming one after another the most it got to was 23 in a row.
