So, I got some disease (which I promptly gave to zombisoup) which is KILLING ME D:
I have pans all over, but I'm mainly congested, and have these aching, swollen glands in my neck that make it painful to swallow, or just be alive in general.

I had something similar to that, but I caught it from kissing some horrid guy back in my " youth ". I slept almost solidly for 4 days, apart from only eating a tiny amount ( due to the swollen neck ) and going to the loo. In retrospect, I did lose 14 lbs so I am quite termpted to catch it again..................Naaah.
I want to attempt the Eldritch smiley! : cool :

o0o0o mono would suck but that doesn't usually cause congestion (unless you have something else too which would suck even more) but you could just have swollen lymph nodes due to whatever infection you have, although if you're having issues swallowing because your throat hurts and isn't just swollen then chances are you have post nasal drip which is also no fun. Anyway it sounds like you should think about going to see the doctor

Mono? Never heard the term before now.
My doctor said ( after looking at my bloodtest results ) that what I had was similar to glandular fever but not as severe as that.
Could be what you guys calll mono though. I did catch it from kissing the aforementioned scummy man
It came on really suddenly too. I was eating a spoonful of icecream, and after about ten minuites I was like the living dead ( it wasn't the icecream, I am fine with dairy ). Wierd o.0

So I'm sitting in the waiting room at the doctor's. There's just me and two other people there, leaving ten unoccupied seats. A person walks in, sits down and picks up a magazine. More people come in, one or two at a time, and before I know it, there's only two empty seats left: one to my left and one to my right. And I can't help but think: wtf?

Why don't people look after their computers... I've got three dudettes on my MSN who got the new virus and now I get "look at me, naked pictures!" requests all the time from them. Quite silly.
