The arrows were pointing at the thread right before mine. The CRACK FRAPPE, of course.
And there is NOT a universal code in play on this forum that says the number of arrows equals the number of posts you go up to find the referred post.

Haha, that's usually what I do, myself.
CRACK FRAPPE FOR THE WIN.
It's pretty awesome. I think she made it a quad-shot, maybe more. Yum.

Yeah, I'm totally jealous. I want one ... except I'm drinking some half-caf and relaxing because I'm trying to behave. I have a tendency to take in way too much caffeine all the time and it's been contributing to my insomnia problems.
Sometimes being good sucks!

Being good always sucks.
Except when you're being bad and.. heehee, nevermind. ;D
I'm still on a RockBand high. It gives me such an ego boost when I can pull off 100% vocals on expert.
Plus caffeine.
Plus nicotine.
Whoo, baby.

I spent almost all of last night stargazing and talking to a very dear friend, and then woke up with him snuggled next to me this morning. Definitely made my week. :]

I flew out to California yesterday morning, and tonight we drove up to the reservation. I love being on reservation land; something changes everytime I hit the border. A feeling of peace and total contentment comes over me; it feels wonderful, like coming home after a long journey. It's wonderful, I'm still positively glowing after only being there for a little over an hour.
That made my week.

The latest television commercial for Microsofts search/decision engine "Bing".
It's the latest in a series that features Hispanic looking actors speaking Spanish with English captions.
In the previous commercial, we saw a husband frantically trying to use search engines to satisfy his beautiful wife's desire for entertainment, but he finds the search results overwhelming and is mired in searching through them. Then a handsome stranger bursts through the door riding a horse and holding a laptop. He announces to the wife that Bing has shown him the perfect thing to take her to would be the movie Prince of Persia, and encourages her to ride away with him. She jumps up on the horse and they ride off through the door, leaving the husband pulling at his hair and crying out, "Los links! Los links!"
(Because trying to sort through all the search engine links has left him literally lost.)
Los Links Episode Uno
So what's tickled my funny bone so is the sequel, wherein the husband is similarly engaged with the search engines because his beautiful maid has asked him to take her away. And as he struggles with "los links", the handsome stranger rides through the door on a horse again, with the wife still clinging to his back, and this time he steals the beautiful maid away because of his superior Bing search engine abilities. It's so silly that it's funny.
Los Links Episode Dos
"Los links! Los links!" - Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Saturday night:
Five beers
Two big cups of mead
One cup of wine
Firefly iced tea vodka with lemonade
Half a fifth of whiskey
and then waking up the next morning completely normal (okay, maybe a little tipsy, but no hangover)
I AM INVINCIBLE.
I also got to see my favorite Swede and all my family. Pretty much made the rest of my month.

I found pants that fit rather well, they will work for work but work for just about any occasion (other than something formal), and they were 50% off!

Saw my best friend yesterday - recovering alcoholic who fell off the wagon big-time last month. He's looking good and has gained some weight. It was awesome to see him looking like he's got his shit together. We spent a really great day sober, just hanging out playing guitar & catching up. I don't get to see him as much as I'd like since he lives in NY now, so it's fucking awful when he goes missing as I can't even help look for him; my role has now been reduced to helping his dad call every number they can find on his cell bill and pacing a lot until they find him. This is the best I've seen him look since we were sixteen though, so hopefully that's now a thing of the past. I'm really hoping this one is for keeps - when he's not drinking he is genuinely one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Pretty much. When I'm not having to be all surly and kicking people's asses, I sure do rock them man-hugs.
