"When do I get to sing "My Way" by Sparks

No, no use in lecturing them, or in threatening them
They will just say "who are you"
Is that a question or not, and you see that the plot
Is predictable, not new
But you're still stunned at the things you will do

No, no use in taking their time or in wasting two dimes
On a call to God knows who
When all you feel is the rain and it's hard to be vain
When no person looks at you
So just be gracious and wait in the queue

CHORUS:
So when do I get to sing "My Way"
When do I get to feel like Sinatra felt
When do I get to sing "My Way"
In heaven or hell
When do I get to do it my way
When do I get to feel like Sid Vicious felt
When do I get to sing "My Way"
In heaven or hell

Yes, it's a tradition they say, like a bright Christmas Day
And traditions must go on
And though I say, yes I see, no I really don't see
Is my smiley face still on?
Sign your name with an X, mow the lawn

They'll introduce me, "Hello, hello"
Women seduce me and champagne flows
Then the lights go low
There's only one song I know

CHORUS

There, this home which once was serene, now is home to the screams
And to flying plates and shoes
But I have no souvenirs of these crackerjack years
Not a moment I could choose
And not one offer that I could refuse

CHORUS

Living Legends - "Immortal Souls"

The last time i closed my eyes i didnt wake
all i remember is walking through heavens gates
the last time i closed my eyes i didnt break
i felt the return to take me back to faith
my body felt cold as my soul left this hole
though i know ive been down this same fucking road
for centuries can we be changed in the misery of life
floating on a broken cornflake trying to make it home
it seems we all drift alone some suffocate in these clothes
within this dome of plaster getting thier ass kicked
sometimes at night do you dream all wet to return and be
when you wear out your new identity
and return through the holy purgatory
where youre held in matrimony with time
and this experience captured within rhyme.

My body felt cold...so cold in here.

At night do you ever dream...do you ever dream?

Returnreturnreturn

I was listening to William Brisinski,
but I changed it...
Last Dance,
by The Cure.

Awwwwrrr. Gawd. The Cure brings up so many emotions in me.
I feel like crying now...
... and My heart is broken right now, I am crying right now, and ...

I really, really, really... just need a hug.

You know, on a festival once (Roskilde), there were some guys (my friends), sitting in a tent, smoking weed and listening to Kashmir, when a girl (not smoking anything) came into the tent.

"What are you listening to?" - the girl asks.

"Led Zeppelin."

"Oh... isn't that the guy from the Police Academy movies?"

---------------------

I shit you not. It really happened.

For those who are not getting the punchline, the character she's thinking of is Zed, the twitchy long-haired guy with the crazy loud pitch-shifting voice.

And thanks for the idea, Retro. I'm now listening to the III album. That's the way is the song.

The guns were from growing up with redneck and coon ass family. I used to be able to hit a bulls eye from almost any distance. But we never used ear muffs.

The yelling was from my parents..but that's another story

I am split between playing Comfortably Numb, Kick in the Eye, Wish You Were Here, Lovesong, Bella Lugosi is Dead, and Last Dance.

I feel like pissy shit.
To put a "positive" spin on this, I will insert a " "
