Considering the current economic climate, inflation, and RoI, to me, £597 is worth more right now than £664 will be in four years time.

I can run Linux on my Nintendo DS, which while not really practical still knocks me out. However, I don't really have a problem with Windows.

Bad news - at least for me ; )
I won't go. A 3 day/2 night trip to Copenhagen would cost me at least 700 euros, which I can't afford at the moment : (
We'll do it another time [drink that beer, I mean]

The Genius Of The Crowd - C. Bukowski
There is enough treachery, hatred violence absurdity in the average
human being to supply any given army on any given day
and the best at murder are those who preach against it
and the best at hate are those who preach love
and the best at war finally are those who preach peace
those who preach god, need god
those who preach peace do not have peace
those who preach peace do not have love
beware the preachers
beware the knowers
beware those who are always reading books
beware those who either detest poverty
or are proud of it
beware those quick to praise
for they need praise in return
beware those who are quick to censor
they are afraid of what they do not know
beware those who seek constant crowds for
they are nothing alone
beware the average man the average woman
beware their love, their love is average
seeks average
but there is genius in their hatred
there is enough genius in their hatred to kill you
to kill anybody
not wanting solitude
not understanding solitude
they will attempt to destroy anything
that differs from their own
not being able to create art
they will not understand art
they will consider their failure as creators
only as a failure of the world
not being able to love fully
they will believe your love incomplete
and then they will hate you
and their hatred will be perfect
like a shining diamond
like a knife
like a mountain
like a tiger
like hemlock
their finest art.

Congratulations, is it going to last or is it too soon to tell? Either way, someone finally penetrated the thorns of honey and that must be good.

new things in my life force me to make decisions I don't want to make. I hate that I'm not a spineless waste of air. Life would be much easier.

Piercing
I'm getting a belly button piercing today... I'm kinda scared, I don't wanna get an infection and then regret my actions.

Reassessing my life plan today. At the rate I'm going, since I can't afford university full time, I'll graduate in six years, optimistically. If I go to college, I'll graduate in two years time, and probably eventually be able to afford to finish my university degree all on my own later in life but before I'm old and settled in my ways. The only thing is that there are only two things I'm interested in doing in college, one of them would require me to move to Carbonear which is a shithole I never want to live in, and then there's Textiles which I can do in town but I dunno how a career with that will go. But then, I don't plan on marrying and having kids so I guess as long as I can get by but manage a savings for school and travel I'll be happy.

Honestly you don't need to make all that much to support yourself if you don't plan to have kids, those little buggers are massive money holes so go with what you like best and I'm sure you will be able to find a job where you make more than enough to live comfortably (although it may take a few less than fantastic positions to get there but that's life)
