Cor..my friend just brought my present round. It's heavy and bottle shaped....I am strongly suspecting it of being a large bottle of Baileys..........

Just been on a stupidly long coach journey from London to Northern Ireland.
I have slept on about three half-hour occasion throughout the night. No actual sleep since waking at 9am Saturday (note, it is now 4pm Sunday). The coach broke down fifteen miles from Preston, leading to a rather extended wait at a rest stop while the mechanic was called. Some time later, late enough for us to miss our scheduled ferry connection, we were on the road again. We missed the 4.55am sailing by one hour, and had a four hour wait for the next one.
I will be wanting a refund, I think, after all this frelling delay.
On the other hand, I'm now at home, in a nice big double bed, typing away on the replacement laptop that arrived while I was in England. Admittedly the laptop has vista, but I'm going to wait and see how it plays out after a few people have assured me that it's effectively a ripoff of OSX.
I have installed Firefox, am pointedly ignoring Outlook and Internet Exploder, and have downloaded AVG. The machine is operable. I also have a new graphics tablet, which I shall install and test forthwith.

Vista seems to be behaving itself so far.
I am not yet convinced of it, as I have not installed any games to see how compatible it is with things, and do not now if Alcohol 52% works on this thing so that I may have Arcanum permanently mounted in a virtual drive.

LOL@fiends.
I'm running out of room on my hard drive. And I really don't want to lug myself over to the mall to buy an external one.

Alright, I think this is funny. I defroze my locks on my old car and then drove it around for a while. Now here's the good part. Every Sunday I listen to a awesome local Minneapolis punk radio show. Today's theme was punk christmas music. It was hillarious. You haven't lived until you've heard Stiff Little Fingers' version of White Christmas. It was great, one minute you'd be listening to regular hardcore punk and the next it would be a Ramones christmas song. It was great.

I've been rattling all my presents!!!! I know one is Baileys because of the bottle shape...I am sure one is chocolate...I think Katie's gift is either a necklace or brooch. I can hear the bugger when I rattle the box...I know for a fact I am getting crimpers because I chose them...hmmm..

Thats funny honeythorn! In other random SOD news, a radical change is happening to my jacket. I've gotten to dislike streetpunk (too many "happy" choruses) so I'm getting new patches and 100 more British cone studs. I've probably already mentioned this but I've had about 10 Dr Peppers today. I will post pictures of me in the new and improved jacket for all you ladies to admire. ;]

Contary to my earlier statement, Vista is not proving to be a workable system.
I advise caution and suggest the use of XP if you must use Microsoft, otherwise attempt to locate a unix derivate.

User reply: Arg arg arg arg *gutteral inhuman snarl*
If you, dear pop-up, appear once more in my sight, bad things will happen to you and the system that spawned you.
Also, yes.

Personally I think they put too much Viagra into Vista (probably due to its age...), hence the many pop-up's.

I would
But I'm broke and dad's cheap.
So it's either sell my car or prostitute myself.
Neither of which would work out, I don't think.
