I can't find the dream thread that we used to have, so I'm posting this here. Deal.

I keep having nightmares about birds. It's really bothering me, and I'm finding it hard to sleep now. I'm pretty sure it's from a combination of the new birds we have (six!) and hanging out more with a friend who has an intense fear of birds. His fear of birds is like mine of spiders.

I wonder if he's having nightmares about spiders.

Sounds like there's something stressing you, but then I don't know all the details.

May I suggest an excellent book? "All About Dreams" by Gayle Delaney. There is not pat answer to dream symbolism, it's all very personal. What might scare you, would be something that makes someone else laugh, in other words.

This book helps you diagram the dream, and bridge it to waking life.

It's pretty good!

My friends and I had to go to a museum in Philly. *shudders* I'm glad I live the suburbs. The drivers there are so freaking crazy. I would be afraid to drive anywhere. I would just take the bus all the time. Crazy city drivers. I wonder where teenagers learn to drive. There's not much open area for teaching kids how to drive.

Many appologies to many friends for being gone so long... Life has taken me through interesting times and twists and turns of late... but at least I'm no longer in Iraq... though sometimes I miss that strange simplicity and the serenity of at least mostly knowing who your enemies are...

Out of place and out of time, broken minds trying to rewind life and all I end up doing is stretching the tape... ~Chuckle~ Would that life would convert to DVD...

At least some of us have dreams...

Geez,

I just talked to my sister last night.I have an uncle that was diagnosed with MS a few years ago.He was doing alright for awhile, but he's confined ot his wheelchair now. :cry: I have to go see him this Sunday.

I just found out that after leasing a house with the help of one of my sisters(not the one I was talking to last night), my mom's credit is completely shot.She's going to be in debt forever and she was just approved for a new car.Seems my sister and her fiance both lost their jobs and can no longer help with the bills/mortgage or anything.I knew from the get-go that agreeing to get a house with my sister was the wrong idea, but would mom listen?

Sometimes I think I'm the only sane person in my family.

I have to go study some more and hope it sinks in before the test on Sat.

Meh, its been a rough last couple o weeks. Al took me to the ER the day after that, while Manimal watched the boys for me. Bleck. One more week of finals and then Spring Break. Thank fucking gawd, I am plain worn the fuck out. I look ghostlier than usual. But at least my doctor hooked me up with some stronger pain meds that actually help a bit.
