I read somewhere of a couple who decided not to cut the cord when the bbay was born. Apparantly the infant is still able to utilise the contents of the afterbirth even once born. I have no idea where they put it, in a dish or whatever next to the baby, but they simply allowed it to shrivel up as he/she used up what was in it, and it also dried out.
Supposedly this will ensure a much healthier baby . No idea if that's true but it seemed to work for them. It's got to be better then the mother eating it..surely the child can get more use out of it as described above? Mother could eat a nice steak sarnie instead if she wants some bloody red meat as badly as all that O.o

Just watched the new(ish) Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. Overall, pile of crap, but with one scene which redeemed the whole movie for me - the fight scene with Rocky Road to Dublin played over the action. Not only showed that someone involved in the making had a little goddamned taste, but also tapped into that rebellious area of my brain that bodyslams my cerebral approach to art long enough to release my inner twelve-yr-old, allowing him to cry, "AWESOME!!!" when a cool fight scene showcasing the violence that I generally deplore takes form onscreen.
But otherwise, piece of shit. Just youtube the fight section and know that RRtD strikes up again as he walks away, since the genius who put it up decided to cut that part out.

My dog's heamatoma exploded! : O My mother came back from a funeral to find Peggy's face covered with blood and a hole where it had popped! Clearly the vet's anti inflammatories are for lack of a better word...SHIT.
Anyway she called the vet at once after wiping the blood off with a warm cloth, the vet said to keep cleaning it and come back on Friday as originally planned.
First she looked like she'd been punched in the face, now she looks like she's been shot!

I'm back from Northern Ireland.
There were geologically unique rock formations, there was drinking, there was the introduction of the Ulster Fry to an Englishman, there were loads of antique trains, there was the enlightenment of same Englishman that stew is nice *if you put Guinness in it*, there was the Belfast Accent and my utter lack thereof, there was Feckin Irish Whiskey and some proper Bushmills Special Reserve, there were my mother's notorious Irish Coffees...
And now I am back in England, my Gent has survived meeting my family and country of origin, and I have some vile cough/cold/virus that damn well better be gone by Friday night.
LONDON GNETTERS. Get your asses to Holloway Road on Friday night, the Beauty Of Poison at the Gaff is putting on a charity night for the Sophie group. Tons of DJs ranging from Dead and Buried's Cavey Nik through to Slimelight's Loki, live music, only £5 entry, and we've got a late license so you can drink and dance till 4am or whenever the bar staff decide to go home, whichever is later. The DJs are usually pretty request friendly, and regular DJs Jussard and Hawkmoon have a taste for dodgy punk and 80s cheese as well as 'goth'. I will be there, and may or may not have decided to bake cookies or other tasty snacks to share.

Right, I'm signing off for the weekend G.Net. I shall be in Denmark until Monday, engaging in fleshly delights, and squandering my few Kroner on trinkets for pals. Byebye!

I can no longer enjoy this page due to the fact that a certain picture has been imaged twice.

Life is a shit sandwich. Unfortunately, it's always lunchtime. How much bread you have goes a long way toward determining how easy it is to swallow.

You're lucky I didn't put img tags on the first one, I was about to submit it that way but thought better of it. So compared to that I didn't think the sandwich was that bad.

THE FUCK?! I thought that was a pressed char siu pork sandwich!
On an unrelated note, Grease would have kicked so much ass if it focused on Rizzo instead of Sandy and Danny.

Ever see the stage version? Its been a while but there was a lot more focus on the rest of the cast, including Rizzo.

All I ever saw was the movie and while Stockard Channing was a bit long in the tooth for Rizzo (which was likely the idea since Grease was a satire), the character was definitely unforgettable.

I think you should rephrase that, to 'ever was to me'.
Alan loves me, I know he does.
Anywhoo... I'm going to a party tonight with a bunch of Asian fetish crazed guys. Should I look drop dead gorgeous and shoot them down like ducks? I think so! Muahahahhahaha!

Today, I have realized how very easily people get their feelings hurt. It's ridiculous. I feel like I'm talking to toddlers.
