Pity about her friend getting a lung problem, but it's a bit of luck for you!

Yes, I'd be gutted if I discovered something like that :/ But!!! I have just had another PM, she apparantly hasn't bought any tickets yet, as they only came out last week. Anyway, she is getting them next week!!!! So she'll get me one and I will give her the dosh when we meet. She's already booked a room she says. So! keep your eye on the top hats! Mine has a green feather clip in the band

Why can't you just order a ticket for yourself?

My bank card is just a cash card. Not a debit card. To be fair, I need to open a seperate account for things like that. I don't want my main one to have a debit card in case it gets nicked or something.

You're just paranoid. Ha!
Here's how I would do it if I were you.
Come over Friday evening around 7ish. Go to the gig. Leave about 6-7am. Catch a train back. If you think like you can't manage, see if Del could let you crash on her couch and you could catch your train back sometime Saturday evening. Del seems like a nice person, I'm sure that she wouldn't mind. I'd be happy to get the ticket for you if you don't have a debit card. Did I miss anything?

Come over where? It's a weekender remember? I already have a room since the woman originally booked it for her and her friend. But now I am going in place of the friend. The woman is getting me the ticket when she goes. Getting them from Ressurrection records apparantly.

It doesn't say. I think there may be different bands on both days.

Four bands Friday, four on Saturday, eight bands in all.
Plus possible other gigs on the Thursday, alternative on the Friday and Saturday, and entertainments also on the Sun and Mon.

Well, I hope your other plan goes through but if not, can't she crash at your place over the weekend Del? Like on the couch or something. Besides B&B's aren't really all that expensive, in case nothing else works out.

B&Bs in Whitby are hen's teeth. Soooo hard to find at Festival time. Goths totally pack the town out, there's not enough room. People often have to go to nearby villages like Robin Hood's Bay.

Nooo.... Whitby. The coastal town up in Yorkshire. One of the places featured in Dracula (the book, not the movie) and a wonderful little fishing town.

For some reason in 2006's new year's eve, God was as famous as blowjobs. Why would that be?

Heh. I'll have to throw that bit of trivia at someone, sometime.
My canmate can't sing very well yet she insists on doing so.

The boy who sits next to me in english taps his pen and the only way I've found to stop him is poking repeatedly. Sigh.

Hmm, I still haven't replied to my friend from the forgotten past about us getting together. Should I, shouldn't I?
*pondering at the keyboard*
He's been on my mind since yesterday. The last time I saw him, he had a girlfriend and he came to visit me that day but lied to her about where he was going. He wasn't shy to admit that to me. They'd only been together for about a month at the time and he said that she was very posessive and would assume that he and I are getting something on. That whole thing doesn't sit well with me.
I'm wondering now if they've broken up in the meantime and he's now simply looking up his 'second option' or something.
I'm making this sound like a fucking soap opera. Where is my mind going to?
*should stop typing nonsense.*
