Yay! The project is doing quite well!

I have just checked Myspace, and had two messages.
One was from Lucy*Fur, the eminent UK goth promoter and one of the major forces behind Whitby Goth Weekend, offering a certain amount of support for the UK Goth Club Listing. This is excellent.
The other was from Carpe Nocturne, the USA goth magazine and supporter of three US goth festivals, expressing an interest in and a degree of potential support for the UK Goth Club Listing.

Allow me to repeat how excellent this is. Two major forces, from either side of the Atlantic, are expressing an interest in possibly offering support to the project that Trashcan and I run when we have the time to check up on the listings. Suddenly I'm thinking that I want to dedicate a whole lot *more* of my free hours to making the Listing the best it can possibly be.

Of course, they have not yet confirmed that they will be joining forces with us and I have to consult with Trashcan as he's a good 50% of the power behind this project, but they're still pretty good signs.

I also hate it when people try to deny their natural human instincts. I mean, come on.....everyone watches porn. If it's not for sexual purposes, it's for humoristic reasons. Porn is a way of life.

Thanks for the various encouragements.
This project does mean a lot to me, it's a fairly major endeavour- Trashcan and I have spent a lot of our time on getting this thing going and making sure that everything's up to date and functional. We're only on freewebs and MySpace at the moment, but we're going to get off freewebs and onto something decent this year so that we have room to expand.

No damage - indeed! Hah.

Good thing I took pics of my car to the police station.

So last night I was in a minor car accident. Another driver turned into an intersection in front of me while I had right of way to cross. So, not my fault - which means that she or her insurance has to pay.

Her car had no damage that we could see, but my car now has a lovely hole in the bumper. So I thought I'd take a pic and submit it with my declaration.

Good thing I did, because the other driver was at the same police station about an hour before me and declared that no damage was done to either of the vehicles. And by some stroke of luck - I spoke with the same police officer who took the other driver's details and she could recall everything that the other driver stated. Which turned out to be complete bullshit.

It's crap like this that makes me not want to be a nice person.

For once, just once.. ..I really want a hug . A proper one that doesn't involve me screwing up into a big tense ball of "gah!" . I am not sure why I want one either. Which is a bit worrying as I like to know what I am up to.
