Try just scalding the brocolli on boiling water and serve it with chinese oyster sauce. It's divine.
There I go all gay again...

My friend's dog was in heat and she kept trying to hump my other friend's leg. It was quite amusing. Ick. No bestiality!!

wait - you said bestiality was 'amusing' and then you said 'ick'. is that like laughing while some guy vomits and he inadvertantly squirts diarrehea into his shorts?
ickily amusing?
(by the way, i'm just playing here.)

I like the Yang in you.
So its (around) one thrity, Ive just finished making breakfast...and lunch and dinner are smoking on the grill. Im settling in for the long haul. Today is (probably) one of the busiest days of the year for me. Yangarang! Its not the only day I celebrate womanhood, its not the only day I spend during the whole year recognizing the contributions and sacrifices the women in my life have made for me, but it is a day I find especially endearing, and I celebrate the fuck out of it.
Keep your Christmas, keep you Hanukah, Easter, Valentines, Hallo
err, no I take that back I like Halloween. My three favorite holidays then? Mothers Day, Halloween, and Martin Luther Kings day of memorial. In that order.
So to all the women out there, mothers, daughters, I say to you.
Thank you.
Thank you for unconditional love, thank you for understanding, thank you for the support, the bandages, the reality checks, the sympathetic ear, the advice, the wisdom, the strength, the sleepless nights spent worrying, the nurturing, the ability to make any place no matter how grandiose or how lowly into a home
just--thank you--for everything.
And today I celebrate my mother, my daughters, and my wife
most importantly (to me at this stage in my life) my wife who is the best goddamn mother in the whole fucking world and who rawks my kids socks everyday. I hope she knows how much I appreciate her, how I adore the things she does for my children and the love she wraps each and everyone of them in
like a security blanket it is, something they have no matter where they are or where they may go, something to give them solace during the long and wasting.
Sigh. Few things in life amaze me, but this would be one of those rarities.
And she gets breakfast in bed tomorrow
I feel like I do so little, I feel like she and mothers everywhere in the world do so fucking much, so this day is for her. Ill be up all night, all morning, and all day trying to express that gratitude to them.
p.s. the breakfast is simplicity at its finest. One fresh Cantaloupe; using a spoon scoop out the fruit, plate it, and drizzle clover honey over the top. One Kiwi, cut and platted in a symmetrically pleasing way. The strawberries I hollowed, and drizzled a raspberry orange sauce inside, and capped it with fresh whipped heavy cream. The raspberries are also filled with the same sauce as the strawberries, but I reduced it even further to a thicker state, and when cooled has the texture of jello. It is a nice contrast for the fresh berries. Prep time, 15 mins. Total time to complete, also, 15 mins. Of course, breakfast is the easiest meal, the other (lunch and dinner) will be on the grill slowly smoking for the next 8 and 16 hrs. Now, time to get started on that floor

Today,
I contemplate Motherhood. I think about the example that I had growing up. I remember the good times when I was very young and mommy was always there, always smiling and we were all one happy family with my siblings. I have alot of memories of my mother smiling when I was very young. Those, to me, were the happy times.
I remember the first time that I woke up and she wasn't there. There was a fear that she had run away and wasn't coming back. She didn't understand why the four of us were crying when she finally decided to waltz through the door. For the next fourt years it was a common occurence. I remember the drinking and the men and the frustration and confusion that I went through in those years.
The next years are filled with angst and CPS would become an all too real nightmare. I moved out when I was 16 so that I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore.
Eventually my relationship with my mother did get better. She moved 6 hours away and has this odd 'out-of-sight-out-of-mind' mentality. I've blamed her for alot of the mental problems that I have and for that I feel ashamed at times. Sometimes I wonder, though. What decisions would I have made if I had been in my mother's place? How can I judge a woman so harshly that has had as bad a life as I? One memory makes everything forgivable.
I remember my grandmother holding my hand as we walk down a sidewalk. It's a pleasant, sunny day. As we near the Dairy Queen where my mom worked, I see her walking toward us. She is pristine in what looks like a white nurse's uniform. She pauses a few feet from us and kneels down with her arms wide open. I hurriedly run into her outstretched arms and am enveloped in my mother's love. I feel safe, secure. All is right with the world. This one memory washes away all the bad, if temporarily.
This one memory, I will carry with me forever.
I love you, Mommy.

I did nothing for mother's day because I haven't seen my mom for months. Ick. I heart all the good mothers on this site. So happy belated mother's day.
Mael: I must say that I really like your avatar. I wouldn't have the balls to do such a thing but I'm glad you do.

Send me a private message identifying yourself with an old nick or a real name (if you do really know me). Until then, seen as there already is a veteran member who seems to know you and doesn't like you, so I don't really need any other excuse to delete all your posts untill you identify yourself to me or until E_E tells me he made a mistake.
And the excuse is only to my own personal conscience, because no one else around here is gonna tell me off.
It's the mods here who decide to wipe slates clean, not people who (might) have been banned.
We don't post anyone's real name here without their consent.

Oh man, I love distant electrical storms, especially when you're outside before they head overtop of you. There's nothing more relaxing than the sound of rain and rolling thunder from far off.

Except when it happens very early pn a Winter Monday morning, and you don't have to go to work and neither does the warm snugg body lying next to you...
...

..
.
You know the body will eventually cool down sooner or later, but as long as you dispose of it before it starts to smell, you can just relax and enjoy those intimate moments.

I often wonder about the term "exotic" dancer. I love boobs as much as the next person, but I can see boobs everywhere. What's so "exotic" about them? When I was growing up they were called "titties" and we had "titty"-dancers. I might say they were exotic if the girls had three or more boobs, though.
Hmmm...........

Thanks babe. Compliments will get you everywhere!
Oh, and I forgot to mention the added sadistic value of also listening to the sounds of other people going off to work in the cold rainy weather as you snuggle closer to that special someone (or something, or whatever your thing is  ).
:P

Speaking of being in bed with that special someone while it's raining; there are two kinds of weather best to make love in. A thunderstorm and in a blizzard/when it's snowing hard.
Nothing beats ideal weather conditions.

I wouldn't know about blizzards, as I've never sseen snow in my life (other than the Himalaias from above and Serra da Estrela from affar), but I'll vouch for thunderstorms, typhoons and hurricanes, "marés vivas" ("live tides", it happens on a full moon at the end of Summer every year around September, the Atlantic comes alive like its boiling[unfit even for mad dogs and englishmen, but die-hard surfers thrive in it]), moonson rains on a tropical evening...
...Leonard Cohen sets the pace... and the Earth shakes and the angels weep...
