Henry Rollins was awesome. He made me laugh, and cry. All in the space of 5 minutes.

God, I've changed and matured so much in the past year. And I'm not even that mature now.

Yes it is. I look back every couple of months and think "now look how stupid I was."
But last year.....shit......I was a Tripp wearing emo/mallgoth/crap-metalhead and I mean I knew of goth bands I just wasn't interested because I was one of those Goth is what you make it types. I was totally obsessed with fitting into the goth stereotype and shit was I awful at it. I also cried all day over my ex, obsessed with hating people and refused to make friends or play nice with anyone because I thought that was badass. Ick.

I read this as going down and I though I had missed this conversation turning to something of a sexual nature, now I'm disappointed

I got given two of those 18th birthday keys today. They kind of reminded me of Sailor Chibi Moon's 'Key of Space-Time'.
I still don't really feel like an adult. But I expected that. I'm off to eat my cake now.

Sailor Moon kicks ass.... Outlaw Star is better, though.

Thank you Geoluhread!
I love Sailor Moon. Never watched the tv show (well not until I had the internet, but even then, not much), but I have four volumes of the little comic books and some dolls/plushes. They were kind of hard to get too, because Sailor Moon was pretty much non-existent over here.
I'd love one of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon artbooks though.

Happy Birthday
Duncan ripped his tail on the bogwood so I had it out and replaced it with a smooth ornament . Now I have to treat the damn tank with Melafix to help it heal faster. Still, he's a happy little chap nonetheless, and his tank looks spiffy *is smug*

Well I can't count Duncan as he isn't exactly mine. The tank belongs to me but the fish is my mother's. I maintain the upkeep of the tank and the equilibrium of it's water parameters and biological cycle through water changes. Same as the other fishtanks.
I personally have 2 birds ( a budgie and a cockatiel ) , a rabbit, 17 fish and 6 shrimp ( 2 fish in one tank, 15 in the other along with the shrimp )

I hope to have lots of pets when I own a home. Right now I got two rats and a cat.
I bought a new cell phone today, switched companies but didn't keep the same number. I'm getting antsy waiting for it to activate :S But I love the phone, and that it has a low grade camera. I got it because the carrier I was with started charging for incoming text messages.

Yes they all have names. One group of 6 fish in the big tank are all the same so they have a collective name. THE BARBARIAN HORDE!!!!!

You're afraid of fish? How? They just..swim about and eat, and sometimes fight. Duncan would possibly alarm you . He swims right up to the glass and flares his gills! And waves his fins in a mad little challenge!

Thanks HP!
I think my fish thing stems partially from the fact that when I was a kid, my cousin took his goldfish out of its tank and threw it at me. It really disturbed me. I'm scared of most non-mammal sea-life, frogs/toads and slugs/snails too. I've had bad experiences with them too. I don't think I'd be able to cope at an aquarium.
Well, I got my exam results today. B in drama (with full marks in my performance! Heh, I made the examiner cry). I got a high B in art, which I'm pleased with. But I got a C in history- failed my Russia paper completely (I'm going to re-sit it hopefully) though luckily I did really well on the coursework for it (which I personally found a real struggle).
I'm alright with it all though.
